    Default The Skillfull Raging Kensai

So, I have been looking at a THF melee build using the Horc (yes like everyone else) and I wanted to see if this combination could be sucsessfull. I have no experience in creating builds, for ddo, but I do have alot of experience for pnp d&d.

So the things that we aim for here are:

High, sustainable strength along with burst dps from fighter alacrity (quite alot of burst with all the action boosts)
    High HP
    High enough UMD
    Evasion

    Drawbacks:
Going to be limited to one kind of weapon
    Tight on AP
    low on skillpoints

    Starting Stats:
    Str 20
    Dex 12
    Con 16
    Int 8
    Wis 8
    Cha 6

With a +2 tome to at least int on lvl 7 this allows for almost full ranks in both UMD and Balance. The first rogue level also allows for a little bit of tumble and other skills can boosted to usefull levels in other ways.

    STR Calculations

    Standing Strength:
    20 - Starting
    5 - level-ups
    7 - Item
    3 - exceptional
    3 - tome
    2 - Orcish Str II
    3 - Fighter Str III
2 – FB Tower of Despair set
    Total 45

    Rage:
    4 - Rage
2 – Barb Power Rage IV
2 – Orcish Power Rage II
    Total 8 (53 Cumulative)

    Other easily Sustainable Buffs:
    2 – Frenzy
2 – Rage spell or potion
    2 – 1x Madstone Boot buff
    8 - Power surge

    Total 14 (67 Cumulative)

    Burst Strength:
    2 – 2nd Madstone Buff
6 – Titan Gloves (or other psionic bonus)
    2 – House D Alchemy potion
    2 – Orcish Fury I
    Total 12 (79 Cumulative)

    Con Calculations
    16 - starting
    6 - Item
    3 - exceptional
    3 - tome
    2 - enhancment
    2 - rage spell
    2 - yuguloth
    4 - madstone
    8 - rage
    = 46

    HP
    20 Base
    120 Fighter
    72 Barb
    12 Rogue
    360 Con
    45 Shroud
    10 Agent of Argo
    30 GFL
    20 Toughness item
    20 Yugoloth
    Total= 699hp

Low power on laptop, will finish this later :P Please leave comments and tips

If you're trying to use barbarian power rage from the Half-Orc enhancements without actually having barbarian levels you're going to be sorely disappointed when it wont let you take them as they all have a minimum barbarian level they require.

Though I was looking at something similar, along the lines of Fighter 12/Barbarian 6/Rogue 2. Going for some of the good ole'fashioned Rage+Power Surge loving on a Kensai's specialized weapon. Though I was thinking of Dual wielding Khopies, a Half-Orc with a two-handed sword would be kind of wicked, a Falchion on that build might make for some ridiculous levels of crit love.

Edit: nevermind. With no class breakdown I didnt notice you'd included Rogue levels until after a second pass.

From the hitpoint breakdown looks like he's going 12 fighter, 6 barb, 2 rogue.
