I've bene looking around, but can't seem to find an image/description of what the Pale Master set bonus got changed to after PM 3 came out, and just can't seem to find it. Have I just overlooked it on the descriptions I've read? From what I can tell, it was +200% incoming negative energy damage, then changed to a potency-like effect for +60(?)% when both items are equipped. Did it get a further effect for a PM III the way the other rings do/have? If so, what is it?

From the new description:
Pale Master - This item is one of two pieces of the Pale Master set. When both items are equipped you will gain a 30% bonus to all Negative Energy damage, as if you possessed a Greater Nullification IX item. If you also have the Pale Master 3 Enhancement, these items will grant a 60% bonus to all Negative Energy damage, as if you possessed an Epic Nullification IX item.

Garbage is an understatement word for the set. Maybe +200% incoming negative healing was a bit too much. I would be very happy if it was a +100% incoming negative healing compared to the trash it is now that doesn't stack with anything either.

Just drink a nihil IV pot and you get 75%. who needs 50 or even 60 and eat up a gear slot.
