    A) They need to allow people to remove any buff that they have on themselves. This is more than just for camouflage.

    B) I like the graphic for Camo.

It was so hot and fresh I was thinking icing might drip all over the place.
She gave me a 'dirty' look and it was...hmmm

So sweet... so moist....and the aroma...omg I was in heaven.

You want another effect they changed because of this form of medical issue? The pulsating red screen effect when going into rage.
She is playing this game and leaving settings on that cause her medical distress? That's insane! Has she considered turning off video post processing in the advanced graphics options?

It was funny for a while. All of it was. Grease, camo, the lot of it was good for a chuckle when people would either get cranky or retaliate in kind. Unfortunately, like tic-tac-toe (predictable outcome), it gets old fairly quickly. This being the case and noting your join date I can see why you might think its still entertaining - and that's fair enough.

The fact is, though, there are those of us that have seen these kinds of jokes play out in all their forms literally thousands of times. Please, try not to take offense but its just not funny to us anymore. Most of us won't bother saying anything because there is little hope it will alter the outcome in a favorable way. Rather, many long time vets will just shake their heads, sigh and hope the novelty of these very old jokes loses its grip on you sooner rather than later.

So, I suppose that while it is unrealistic to expect anyone to stop doing these things simply because someone asks, it would be nice if those of you that still get a kick out of it try to limit it to either friends or non-critical points in a quest.

How about an option of making buffs visible or not....? kind of like /showhelmet off....
Or like Dismiss Charm. I think it is an idea they should look into. The game would have to differentiate between (de)buffs cast by monsters vs. buffs cast by party members. The idea has potential

    All due respect and everything...

...but is it really wise for someone who suffers graphics-induced migraines or seizures or whatever to be playing a video game?

That sort of strikes me as the epileptic suing to have the strobe removed at the local dance club. Instead of, you know, just not going.

Or at theme parks, ever notice those warning signs for rides? Don't get on this if you're pregnant, have a heart condition, are shorter than 48", etc. Should the solution be to tone down those rides so they don't cause excitement, or should the solution be that people who are unfit to ride, don't?

Finally, if the pattern is a problem, changing/reducing textures or resolution may help.

Or doing normal daily things.... such as watching TV, driving a car, etc.

If you review a lot of the game, you'll find that people also complain about the hypno sphere, PM death aura (which apparently is getting changed), barbarian blood pulse (which did get changed), glitterdust, etc.

And sure.. you can turn off post processing... if you want the game to look like utter ****.

If anyone ever bothers to go through, you'll find I've never asked once for them to remove camo from the game. I've even stated that the sfx for it is rather unique and cool. What I have asked for is a manner to turn just camo off. Self dispell it. It should be dismissible at will. Rage is not dismissible at will yet they've stuck in a mechanic to do so.

People said that camo never hurt any one, and that is flat out factually wrong. They should be glad they don't suffer from it vs. being immature and mocking others.

Right now the best thing is actually to be respectful of other players. Cast camo if you want, but ask/tell people you are casting it. That way they don't have to be hit by it. When it is cast on your character, you are forced to look at it, your focal point in the game.
One thought that just now occurred to me is maybe she could stand to play in 1st person perspective while waiting for the **** spell to end. I don't know. Me, I can't stand that perspective in this game. I'm too used to 3rd person.

    This.

I would back a move to create a way to right click on the buff bar and have the option to dismiss buffs that are unwanted.

The one that really comes to mind is when a warchanter bard sings inspire recklessness.
There is not a single tank that isnt a WF or caster/healer that wants to lose any fortification.

Rage is unwanted by some as well.

This would also be helpful for when we are overbuffed and our bar gets cut off:
dismissing unwanted/unneeded buffs like poison or blur (when wearing a smoke item) would be nice so I can see my curses on the bar.

Cuz you REALLY need that fort while you're beating on portals in Shroud part one.

No, but it is needed when Horoth is trying to rip my Barb's guts out and the healers are on a cadence of healing through his brutal attacks.

this is what I meant when I said 'tank.' do you tank portals?

Girrrrl, i know what you mean.

Like this one time? We was doin' a raid on that lallat snake queen tramp? And oh girl, I was lookin' FIERCE! I had my kenneth cole boots, my gianni versace blue leather suit, my nails was did, and my hair was alllllll that.

I wasn't even gonna have to smack dat tramp up, I was just gonna slay her with my fierceness, an' then you know what? Mr. "Oh, Ah better help out" Ranger done hit us with mass camouflage!

NOW I gots to go in lookin' all K-marty 'n' stuff, and Lallat says to me, she says "Girl, you almost looked so fierce that you coulda slayed me with it. But now, you just look all...oh you just don't BELONG all up in here, so Ima grind you into conditioner for my extensions"

I got that ranger back though, oh yes I did. He won't EVER show his face after I took that picture of him with that hobgoblin in the alley behind the rusty nail!

Don't be messin' with my fierceness!
"Sorry Elminster, it was really dark, and I'd drank a LOT of coffee..."
