I'd like to know beforehand if opening a chest will make me Ransacked.
I'd also like to see a notice of stating if I am ransacked.
Finally, I would like to have a visible ransack timer. Thanks!

You have ransacked this forum. You may not post again for 1 year.
Good 'nuff?

If you want to know if the NEXT time you open a chest if will be ransacked you can, but you have to be at the chest to do so.
Opening a chest will increment your counter but subsequent opening of the chest within that instance will not. What that means is that if you are wondering if you are getting close to ransacking you open the chest, loot it, then open it again. If the chest would be ransacked the next time... you'll get the ransack message.
I dont think they should waste coding time making a ransack timer. It would just start to regiment regular quests runs as well as raids. We need more reasons to spontaneously run quests not less.

Keep track of the number of times you have gotten the chest. I believe you become ransacked at 10 times on the same chest in 1 week(please correct me if I am wrong). Once 7 days have passed from the first time you opened the chest you can get loot again. No timer needed as long as you can count to 10. If you can't count that high you may need to attend refresher kindergarten courses.
