As I have almost caped my TR wizard I started to think what to do next. Leveling TR1 was not so hard so I was thinking about doing it again. Looking at my characters I realized that I have most fun with my pure cleric. She is strong as she is, but staying pure does not give me much benefits as cleric's capstone sux.
So how to improve her without loosing too much? I want to be healer first, anything else is bonus. Goal is to stay at least lev18 cleric so I can eventually get RS III. Splash 2levs of monk looks good.
This is what I have come up with.
Half-Elf, 34p, past life cleric, 18 cleric/2 monk
STR 14(20)--> 2 tome, 6 item, -2 stance = 20
DEX 13(20)--> 2 tome, 5 item(spectral gloves that i have) = 20
CON 13(22)--> 2 tome, 1 enh(human), 6 item = 22
INT 08(10)--> 2 tome = 10
WIS 17(36)--> 2 tome, 5 level ups, 4 enh(3cleric, 1human), 2 stance, 6 item = 36
CHA 13(24)--> 2 tome, 3 enh(2cleric, ?1 paladin dilettante?), 6 item = 24 (if I will not be able to get paladin dilettante CHA+1 I will just eat +1tome)
Feats:
1-Cleric = Empower Healing | Race = Paladin Dilettante
3-Cleric = Toughness - at lev13 switch to Empower
6-Cleric = Maximize
9-Cleric = Extend
12-Cleric = Quicken
13-Monk = Toughness
14-Monk = 2wpn Fighting
15-Cleric = Mental Toughness
18-Cleric = Improved Mental Toughness
I like Mental Toughness feats, I have them now on my cleric and I love having lots of sp(and I don't think I need any other feats, maybe heighten, but I can live without it).
This build will lose about 300sp over my current build, but I have Mysterious Bauble(that I don't use very often right now), so that should even it out.
This build should end up with around 1700sp.
AC:
Not high enough to matter, but with some grp buffs and when I get some better gear it should be decent(around 60)
Ideal theoretical AC:
10 base
9 DEX(13base,+7item,+3exceptional,+3tome,+2airship=2 8)
18 WIS(17base,+5lvl,+4enh,+2stance,+3exceptional,+7it em,+4tome,+2yugo,+2airship=46)
8 Armor
5 Deflection
4 Insight
4 Shield
4 Icy Dodge
3 Chattering Dodge
2 Mabar Cloak Dodge
1 Haste Dodge
2 Recitation
1 Monk
1 Alchemical
3 Natural
75 AC self buffed
Very unlikely that I will get it this far, but as I said 60AC should be reasonably easy to get.
Saves:
F/R/W
11/6/11 Cleric
3/3/3 Monk
6/5/13 Stats
4/4/4 GH
0/1/0 Haste
5/5/5 Resistance
1/1/1 Alchemical
1/1/1 Voice of the Master
2/2/2 Ocean Stance
4/4/4 Holy Aura
5/5/5 H-Elf Improved Paladin Dilettante III
42/37/49
To-Hit:
30+, should be enough for trash mobs that don't want to run through my BB(casters/archers)
Melee Dmg:
Low, but I usually use vorpal anyway.
I wonder if I should lower str to 12, that +1 dmg and +1 to-hit should not matter.(or to 10)
I don't plan on having power attack and no other feat(for this build) require str.
Hit Points:
160 Class Levels(d8 x20)
20 Heroic Durability
120 CON (+6 x20)
20 Minos Legens
22 Toughness Feat
20 Toughness Enhancements
5 Tortoise
30 Greater False Life
10 Small Guild Crystal
407 HP
Spell Points:
80 Magical training
930 Cleric
150 Wizardry 6
105 Mental Toughness
105 Improved Mental Toughness
351 Wisdom Bonus
1721 SP
energy of the zaelot and guild crystal should get me to 1800
I don't have lots of gear and I still think that I'm doing fine.
This build should be as good as my pure cleric but with a lot more room to grow.
Any feedback is appreciated.
