Hi everyone! I am really excited to be working for Turbine in my new role as Community Specialist. Some of you may know me from my prior work as the creator and host of the DDOcast podcast, a weekly show about Dungeons and Dragons Online which continues to this day under excellent new leadership.

I’d like to take a minute to introduce myself. Name’s Jerry. I began playing Dungeons & Dragons Online in June of 2006 with a human fighter. He underwent a hairstyle change, and even a Greater Reincarnation to deal with a few “early-days” errors (umm…just a reminder that the Repair skill does not help you repair your items), but he was a super-fun character to play all these years. I’m also a fan of a particular drow cleric I made.

You’ll be seeing me on the DDO forums and in-game, collecting feedback, making announcements, helping to run events, answering questions and a whole bunch more.

Hi there everyone! I’m Seraphina “Celestrata” Brennan, and I’m one of the new community specialists ‘round these parts!

You might already know me through my work at Massively.com, where I acted as the site’s senior editor and community manger. Prior to my work there, I worked on the Passively Online Multiplayer Game known as PMOG or, in its later years, The Nethernet, as an intern game designer and writer.

Game wise, I’ve played almost every massively multiplayer game under the sun. I’ve hit the big games like EverQuest 1 and World of Warcraft, and smaller titles like Lineage II, SEED, Myst Online and many, many more. But, while I’ve ventured in many worlds, I have to say that Asheron’s Call and The Lord of the Rings Online have always held special places in my heart. LOTRO for visualizing J.R.R. Tolkien’s wonderful world and Asheron’s Call for being a wonderfully deep and complex MMO experience.

While you will see me all over Turbine’s games, I’ll be primarily working with Sapience on The Lord of the Rings Online. Also, it’s in my job description to use as many upbeat sentences as possible, because exclamation points aren’t used enough in our forums!!!! That and kitty smiles. Everyone loves kitty smiles! =^_^=

    Hello!!
I’m Rachel Cross and will be visible on the forums as Zimzii; one of several new faces in the recently expanded community team. I’m very excited to apply the experience I gathered during my time as QA LOTRO Beta Coordinator (some of you may know me as TheNefarious) to my new role as Community Specialist. I look forward to providing support to all of our communities through the forums and various community sites.

Even before coming to work at Turbine, my days were filled with MMORPG’s and games in general; now I have the unique opportunity to apply my love of gaming and personal experience to strengthen the games I play.

I am so jazzed to be here and look forward to seeing where this adventure leads.

    Hey there!

I'm one of the new community team members here at Turbine. You may or may not be familiar with my work at Massively and GamePro. My editorial background is deeply inlaid with the bones of many MMO accounts past, but I'm also a fan (and adamant player of) several videogames across many genres and platforms.

My actual role here at Turbine will be creating content for the community. Some of it will be shiny new guides and game-related features, while other content will be more experimental. However, all of it will be based on feedback from you, the community, with an eye towards always improving upon what we here at Turbine have done in the past!

    Welcome aboard all.

Not that everything should be a competition, but I'll note that Cordovan already leads the pack in posts 3 to 1 to 1 to 1. Better get crackin! There's drama to curtail, Memnir photos to enjoy, and pvp posts to read and enjoy.

Do you all get to pick your own names or are the supplied by Turbine?

Any chance of getting a brief synopsis how the names you chose came about?

Welcome to the lovefest....now gird yourselves for the battles that lie ahead!!

Yo. Already sounds like 2/4 are LOTRO-focused. Mockduck, stay true to the DDO cause.
