does wizard elemental manipulation and superior potency stack? and for that matter, does spell critical enhancements stack with lore weapons?

Yes and yes, they stack additively I believe.

Sure seem to on my characters. Never actually tested carefully, but from anecdotal observations I'd agree with "yes and yes".

as i understand it, metamagics (ie empower/maximise) and damage enhancements stack additively, but are multiplied by items.

note: superior <element> clicky (eg inferno, freeze, etc) gives better improvement than superior potency or even superior <element> non-clicky items, although the tooltip won't reflect that. obviously, eardweller is even better (and does not stack with items).

lore items and critical enhancements do stack additively for chance, not sure for damage multiplier (but i'm guessing that also stacks additively)

Hot Firewalls? Lineage of Elements, Deadly Lineage of Elements, Elemental Damage. Superior Combustion + Major Fire Lore Scepters. When you're high enough levels for these things, of course.

i've been advised elsewhere that it's supposed to stack differently than i've listed, but one of them does multiply the other two added together. precisely which one that is, i've already forgotten again =S

but yeah, you (ideally) want the highest of each that you can get :P
