    Default Breaking news :ROgue gone mad on thelanis

    URGENT NOTICE : a rogue has reportedly grown obsessed with his "unique" trap making skills and has decided to showcase his "expertise" to the whole of thelanis. unfortunately, his work is extremely fatal and all citizens of stormreach are advised to stay within the four walls of their homes. if leaving is a must, it would be wise to do so with all forms of resits, protection form energy and all the possible extra hitpoints they can gather to avoid unprecedented death. please be aware of this situation the mines are deadly.

    I thought it was entertaining Walked through that mine field earlier today.

    Just wait until our prankster figures out he can spell things in the air with them similar to a certain rogue on another server...

    Yeah we have a couple of those in market-1 on our server. Plus, the occasional rest/ressu shrine too.
    - I've been to so many raids, but I wouldn't call myself a vet, since I have yet to try out different strategies, tactics and classes in raids.

    One of these trap clusters caused me about 10 seconds of lag when it first loaded on screen for me. Not amusing.

    the floating ones are cool, it looks like theres a mini invasion of outer-space weirdies... presumably they'll get swallowed by a passing dog
    I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

    I think I have now read/heard every crazy reason for lag. Oh wait here's one more with about the same amount of credibility.

    Once when zoning into the market I got hit with ~10 seconds of lag. Much to my surprise there were 3 half-orcs doing a /dance at the gate. Therefore, half-orc /dance creates lag.

    @ Bunk: Not gettting the whole guild name in the screenshot is grounds to loose points in the successor race. And for the record I figured it was you laying the holiday decorations about the market in an attempt to get an early visit from the Festivus Jester.

    And at least you found an amussing use for the trap parts. Hmmm, maybe they'll give us trees this holiday season on our airships that can be decorated with traps.

    the lag in instance #1 of the market is getting pretty bad due to this mess.

    You can tell when you'll be showing up in #1 too. The load screen takes WAY longer.


    Enough already. Thanks for the downtime to reboot.


    A few were amusing... This is excessive. And they may end up fixing the market so nothing works there again. Thanks for that too.

    I'm presently in the middle of taking a break from playing DDO and this suddenly occurs, maybe I should come back early. Clearly someone needs to bring some Order to this Chaos!
