Where can I find(get) one of these? I heard that this (Archmagi) stacks with GS spell pts goggles. If not still would be nice to have the +2 spell pen on lvl 8 spells anyway. Also when u do get this item do I have to upgraded to this, Archmagi, Spell Penetration IX Spell Pen, or does it come like this?


ps. I know that it is a random drop per wiki, but I would imagine that some areas or lvls are more frequent.

In all reality its pretty random. However the "lower level" named items that are random like that tend to drop in lower level quests.

Through anecdotal evidence I find The Depths series in House D to be a good place to look. Several chests along the way through the four quests along with four end rewards. I've heard of people on multiple servers finding them there. Though there is no guarantee you'll get the one you want, though trading is always an option.

*EDIT* Oh and yes you have to upgrade it. It begins life as just a Power III trinket with suppressed power. You have to use the dreaming Dark adventure pack to upgrade it.

*EDIT2* Archmagi does indeed stack with exceptional Spell Power (+50 and +100) on Shroud Items, but it does not stack with Wizardy VI, so you may want to craft something different on that tier.
