Default Wrath of Sora Kell set...

I upgraded the Sora kell set during the event, it still gives the same bonus when all pieces are equipped. Should it not get a 10% bump? To make it 50% spell bonus instead of 40? Other than that its great.

    SS or It didnt happen

Side note while 50% would be nice another option when upgraded might be Greater Pot 7

What a stupid ruling, we all know that D&D promotes satanism, not gangs.

If the upgraded set gave +25% insight fortification bonus it would be awesome.

ok ok, will get some SS

    *edit*
    OK, here you go

    Katra's Razor Wit

    Maeyna's Iron Fists

    Teraza's Perfect Sight

    Wrath of Sora Kell buff/icon
As you can see, the items themselves get a pretty good upgrade, but I feel that the set should at least gain a 10% boost to potency.

Looks like that Katra's Wit set is for casual players that will be around level 12-15 for a while.

3 piece sets that need to be upgraded and only have 1 ability you cannot get easily...meh. Though the more ideal items for those slots can take some people a very long time to acquire...

Is the +2 hit and DMG working now? Just curious.

Nifty on a caster-melee in that level range - maybe pally or bard or something ... but not beyond there.

So the upgrade only increased the potency one step?

If it had something like arcane lore on it that would seriously make people consider using it longer-term.

No, the upgrade doesn't increase the potency at all. The OP is suggesting that the upgrade should increase it.

So what does it take to upgrade those items?

eh, so it only ups the attributes to +6 and the skills to 13?

    Man. Potential, but not.

    Epic upgradeable?

What more did you want out of the items when they are in that level range?

As for epic, since none of the quests can be run on epic, there is no way to upgrade them epic?

All of those items are awesome on their own for the level range. You'd be strapped to find a +6 stat item with +13 Intim elsewhere. And a +6 WIS item with True Seeing isn't bad at all.

The damage and attack bonus can be useful but the set doesn't seem to be the biggest draw to the items.

If i recall i think they also come from f2p quests, and at about the range that f2p quests become scarce. This gives people 'decent' gear that is better than you could equip at that level, and give a taste of what 'epic' can be like, drawing more people to consider buying packs for further content.

its a market ploy, a good one that hurts nobody(Its not the offerwall, THIS i support, THAT would and almost did, make me ditch ddo forever)

Don't make them too overpowered, the upgraded items are fine. +6, +13 skill, with 1 'extra' and a bonus effect if all 3? Try to find that on any gear at that level for f2p stuff. Hell its better than most stuff u get in p2p packs.

Leave it as it is. Its fine.

The quests you pull them from are F2P, but the quests you pull the upgrading ingreds from are p2p.

K, didn't know that, but that still seems fair to me. Its still as i said, a market tactic, and its not a bad one.

(BTW which pack are upgrades opened in?)

Strength, Wisdom and Charisma, To-Hit, damage and Greater Potency 6 strikes me as a pretty good FvS set on any build that doesn't totally eschew melee. Worth wearing all the way from 13 until you are a geared high-level.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

Does the 40% bonus stack with potency? That would be quite sick for blade barriers.
