Default Cosmetic Armor Cheers and Jeers

A list of the things I like, and don't like, about the new cosmetic armors thus far. Feel free to post with your own.

    Cheers
    1. Finally the ability to modifier the look of armor.
    2. Different color options available for the same style of armor.
    3. Ability to choose between gear and no-gear options. (Even if I always prefer the gear option)
    4. Attractive armor offered for female characters. (It's nice to have the option )
    5. Ability to switch the kit off, if so inclined.

    Jeers
    1. Cosmetic Armor style restricted based on current type of armor worn. (Medium Cosmetic Armor only for Medium Armor, ect.)
    2. Only a few styles and colors offered so far. (This might change.)
    3. Inability to use an existing set of armor as the cosmetic set.
    4. No cosmetic armor offered in-game except as random loot.
    5. Limited ability to try out a cosmetic kit. (Admittedly better than not being able to try it at all)
    6. Grouped in the DDOstore with other cosmetic gear.(Really should get it's own section)
    7. Cosmetic Kit consumed on use, so must be repurchased if the player gets new armor.

Edit: On retrospect, perhaps I should have chosen a different title for the thread. Jeers sounds too negative.

All we really needed was a smithy NPC on armor shops to change the breastplate/shoulder pads/knee pads/shoes/color of our current armor for a considerable price and we'd be good to go...

YES! We could also use a type of 'makeover mage' to allow changes in appearance like offered in character creation. (adjust the skin tone, or lip colour, etc - since the colours in the CC opening don't use the same lighting as the main game so they look different.) Heck, even an option to change your hairstyle to one of the different/main hairstyles would be amazing.

My drow barbarian keeps hoping that they will have big, furry, ugh boots as an option soon too. >.>

I would love to look more rogue like on my rogue while still wearing outfits/robes. Sadly that isn't an option with this new system.
