    Default Blademark build

ok was wondering what you guys would put together to make a deneith blademark themed character.

here is the basics of what i would do.. pls offer advice as yous see fit.. adn yes i know bastardswords aren't the best weapon.

    Human Fighter
    Str 18
    Dex 13
    Con 14
    Int 13
    wis 8
    cha 8

    feats
    prof bastard swords
    power attack
    combat expertise
TWF for when i need to kill stuff
    OTWF
    ITWF
    GTWF
THF for when i need to pull out a sheild.. bastard sword + sheild gets glancing blows so it is better than just S+B
    ITHF
    GTHF
    Stunning blow
    Imp Trip
    Imp sunder
    DM of sentinel least
    lesser
    greater
    Imp crit slash
    toughness

    Skills
    jump
    balance
    intimidate
haggle (picked haggle for the merc theme.. not really important to anything and UMD would probably be more useful to ppl)

The dragon marks are take, not because they are good, but, because this themed toon would use epic chimera's crown, 2x epic chimera's tooth.. even the greater dragonmark becomes useful then as with a heavy fort item you would get 125 % fort.. allowing you to do cool stuff like have full fort with the doublestrike bard song on you.
dual wield when you aren't going sword n board, and when you are go bastard sword and tower sheild and start raking in the glancing blows with the THF line. As far as enhancements go plan on getting stalwart defender and all the tactical enhancements.. along with whatever makes sense.

haven't done the math on anything yet but tell me what you think and post your own deneith bladmark

What stands out to me at the moment is that you don't have the dex to take the TWF line. You'll need a base of 17 for ITWF

Ehhh? you have 3 arms? THF and a shield thats 2 arms + 1 arm = 3 arms.

THF gives bastard sword and Dwarven Axes glancing blows if you have either a sheild or nothing in the off hand.

right... i had a dumb moment.. my apologies...

ok new stats are 16 str, 16 dex, 14 con, 14 int

as for the 3 hand comment bastard swords and dwarven axes when paired with a shield benefit from the THF line

will eat a tome or put a stat point at some level into dex to quality for ITWF and GTWF

I'm not sure if this build is a good idea; but if you plan to squeeze it TWF & THF, why don't you take khopesh instead of BSword? As you say, you'll get BSword prof free w/(Epic) Chimera's Fang + Sentinel DMs, so you don't need the feat. That way you can TWF w/khopeshes in DPS mode, then switch to Chimera's Fang + shield for the glancing blows when you need to tank.

why not 15 Dex and eat a +2 Dex tome? that will give a free point (or 2? lol) for another stat... say your STR?

try for 18 STR, 15 DEX, 14 CON, 12 INT.... you might see some dramatic improvements when you hit stuff =)

I was thinking about a build like this, like was mentioned don't take the bastard sword feat since the sword makes you proficient as long as you have dragonmarks. Take kopesh instead. I like where you going by taking thf and twf. I've debated with myself about going that route or just going thf and using great sword/axe/falcions. Makes it easier to keep max strength but not as versatile.

That's a 34-pt build if I'm adding right; looks like OP is 32-pt.

I would drop the THF line, and just go 3 toughnesses (69 hp) or go weapon specialization feats (a few extra damage).

aha! so it is (18 str would cost more points >.>)

lol i would probably do a dwarf if it wasn't a themed character, would use dwarven war axes with a simular build, minus dragonmarks.. maybe add in the WF/WS line so i could switch between kensai and stalwart defender when i wanted to, and to add some dps
