    Default pure rogue solo build?

okay so i have seen a few videos of rogues soloing different quests mostly scorpion monastery but i can never seem to figure out if they are multi-classing or just level 20 rogue. i've hardly come across one solo build for 28pt most solos are multi-classed.

at the moment im a lvl 7 rogue but wondering if its a little late to mix in some different classes to suit the soloing capablities like fighter (seeing as i already have weapon finesse), these are my current stats.

    15 str
    19 dex
    14 con
    14 int
    8 wis
    8 charisma

A pure rogue solo build is more or less hit-and-miss. With a GS radiance rapier (or khopesh), you can cut through almost anything like a hot knife through hot butter. The only thing your vulnerable to? Red-names. With no party members to take their aggro, defeating bosses would take an abnormally long time and be pretty strenuous.

If you do want to multi-class though, I recommend taking just two fighter. Even so however, by not staying pure you are missing out on an extra +2 intelligence and +4d6 sneak attack capstone. Here it's more about personal choice and flavor.

IMHO, the two biggest issues for a soling rogue are: (A) can't usually get SAs when you're the only one drawing aggro unless you use Deception or Radiance weapons (and even then it's still not all the time); and (B) no self-healing abilities until your UMD is high enough for Cure wands & Heal scrolls. And lower HPs than other melee builds are an issue for any rogue. So MCing a rogue is usually about addressing those shortcomings at the expense of SA DPS.

we talking solo with or with out a hirerling?

I find being Warforged and having a hirerling caster works well, right now I bring a WF hirerling called Flare, it's great because he can cast repair on both of us.

I also use the Iron Defender line too, they let me spam Diplo and pass Agro off on him.

This is what I been doing from 1~12 so far...
    End game a differnt story.
