    Default scorching ray still bugged in lammania update 8 preview server

    hey, ive reported a bug, ive checked with other players and this is known bug for all ppl who played both wizards and sorcerers:
    Scorching ray still casts slower on a sorcerer than on a wizard even in lammania preview update 8 server, is this ever going to be fixed? its realy boring when u have this spell slowing ur whole build down just because of an easy to fix bug, there are other spells with same problem and they are also not fixed for a while, i would like to know where exactly does sorcerer stand these days, they have been hugely nerfed mainly for faster casting time and recharge time and you cant even do that now.
    Spells like scorching ray, chain lightning and some other are amazing spells which sorcerers get to cast slower than a wizard.

    An answear from someone would be apreciated on this matter because im seriously considering making a wizard again.

    Well, the spell does suck for sorcs atm...
    People just learned to live without it.
    Incinirate/Scracher/Pulverize/Saave/Intimidate/Extterminate/Assacinate/Dismemberr.

    I would love to see this fixed. Scorching ray isn't very scorching when I sling it like cold molasses.

    yea exactly, why should we live without another great spell, its more than enough that we cant change our spell combo and have limited amount of spell slots compared to a wizard, limted feats and DC, the big sad part is that i checked lammania server on update 8 and the freaking bug is still there, why on earth is this class so much ignored?

    i checked this bug today again and timed it, the casting time is equal to 1.5 seconds on a sorcerer and 1.0 seconds on a wizard, its easy to notice as the recharge time is also 1.5seconds on sorcerer and (3.0 seconds on wizard)

    Agreed. This along with CoC and CL should be fixed. However, it's been like this for as long I've been
    playing (3 years) and I've never even seen it acknowledged as a bug.

    yeah, ive been playing for few months myself been playing since update 5 and i havent seen it fixed, its very annoying to have some of great spells with this issue and even more annoying when u have no idea when will it ever be fixed.

    PS: Oh and some ppl may say 1.5 second vs 1.0 second isnt a big deal anyways and im overreacting, well then think about this:
    Sorcerers are suposed to cast faster than wizards, instead they cast slower BUT not only that:

    A sorcerer casts spells twice as fast than a wizard and instead of that they are casting those 3 spells at 1.5 seconds (a wizard casts them at 1second), that is 3 times slower than sorcerer casting time:
    since half of 1 second is 0.5 seconds but because its bugged you get to cast them at 1.5seconds
    still think its not a big deal?

    devs just sent me a pm confirming my bug report yesterday and i didnt notice -.-, hopefully they will work something out , will keep this thread posted with more issues, so far i know that cone of cold, chain lightning and scorching ray are casting 3 times slower than what is suposed on a sorcerer, if u know anything else tell me and i will test.
