nah i dont need it to heal, it js free up my hands on my cleric. so i dont have to carry a potency item. Just lookin man....Thanks for the obvious insight. Plus saves me the time from farming so i can get it on him sooner is all.

For potency it is easier to run Amarath quests for one of the bard necklaces...Wiz VI and Potency all rolled up in one.

Im also in the market for free scales, my funds are ok but im not really in the mood to buy scales. I will gladly accept any black / white and reds since the blues are spoken for.

Also, trading for blue scales, my availability of black and whites for trade will depend greatly on how many I have waiting for me in the mail when I get home in the morning.

i know you was beeing sarcastic so the following is just for the unknowing ppl:

the blue dragonscale item only has potency vii (30% increase) instead of commonly found greater potency vii (40%) or superior potency vi (50%) items. this 10%(20% respectively) is huuuuge.

if you wanna lay down a bladebarrier/cometfall now and then there is no way around a superior potency vi item (amrath bard amulet or the common club/scepter/weapon). for the common healing purposes (heal spell, cure light mass, cure medium mass) its mandatory. if you additionally want cure serious mass you can rely on the gerater potency vii weapon (as 10% is huge).

for raids/tight situations its good to have 1 or 2 of the amrath cleric belts with superior ardor viii clickies. that 75% healing spell increase for lvl 8 and lower spells (so not for mass heal) for 9 minutes per belt.


the blue dragonscale robe is wanted for the greater arcane lore property it has. crit bladebarrier anyone?

a cheap mans robe is the elfcrafted that has 6% arcane lore and can be made for 20 elfen relics.

multiple arcane lore items don't stack but each item has a chance to proc a crit on each spell casted...

Base Heal with Life Magic IV = 210 (150 * 1.4)
Heal with Sup Ardor VIII on = 322; 322 / 210 = 1.53

What am I doing wrong?

Its 75%, my healing aura goes up after clicking ardor then with the sup pot item I am always wearing.

Sounds just about right, thanks. For some reason I've always thought the the enhancement and item bonuses multiplied (150 * 1.4 * 1.75).

I just wanted to jump in and offer to take any free blue scales myself so that I can get Gr. Arcane Lore and nifty blue robes for my FvS, and in return, I will run some Amrath quests with Endless to help him get that bard necklace.

I don't mind waiting on that bard neck, since I'm sure I'll have a few chances to pick one up in the future...Blue Scales, otoh, are out of my bank account range.
