What are some good epic weapons for a dex based ranger?

I pulled a Garos's Malice yesterday, should i bother grinding the stuff necessary to epic it?

Why would you?

It's basically a +6 Flaming Burst shortsword... You'd do better with Lightning Strike or Mineral 2 rapiers.

The +5 Sneak Attack Bonus won't stack with Tharne's though.


I can't think of any good finesseable weapons off the top of my head though, sorry. If you look through the wiki though, you might find you like.

It's because they are all awful when compared to greensteel.

I guess Epic Flint is interesting if you want lightning-strike guard on a weapon slot.

No. There is not a single good epic item in this category. However some of them are worth keeping on a not-so-favorite alt to save larges if you happen to come across necessary ingredients when farming for something actually valuable.
