    Default Correct action to take?

So I'm in The Snitch. Midway through one of my part members goes AFK with no notification. Obviously, the entire group is unable to progress on the quest because we can't assemble near whatsisface, the Halfling. We've already spent 40 minutes on the quest and now I have to wait for a half hour for this guy to DC.

What's the correction action to take? Is there a report for something like this? This guy has wasted a lot of our time and ruined an otherwise good quest run.

I'd give them 10 mins. 15 max. Real life comes first. But theres a limit to how long you keep 5-11 other people waiting on you.

And then recall/reform and do it without them.

For a longer quest i'd wait. Then try to get a gm.. But still most likely end up recall/reform and do it again.

Yes I too would give them 5-10 mins, and then if they still hadn't zoned in/moved after that, I'd recall/reform without them.

The guy could have been DC'ed. I know I've DC'ed to where it literally took 3-4 minutes to reboot my machine, relog, etc.

In the end we waited a full 20 minutes, half hour or whatever it is until he auto-DCed from inactivity. Sooo annoying.

It is a risk you take when you play this game.

It can also happen to you, so don't be too judgemental...no one plays in a vacuum.

In that time you could have reformed and completed Snitch. I'd give the guy about 5 min. If after that time he's still afk, reform and reenter the quest. If he comes back and sends you a tell then he can catch up if you're feeling generous or complete without him.

Kill them. Take their soul stone over to where they need to be. Problem solved. And make sure to leave the soul stone very far away from any shrines.

A forum post should be like a skirt - long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.
