Default To Zerg or not to Zerg, Whats your game?

To zerg or not to zerg, What is your game and why?

The fist time I run a new quest I do like to look around, Is that not the reason coders puts so many man hr’s into the detail, The problem is so many people just jump in and see how fast you can get it done? What I dont understand is why always the speed runs the 1st few times?

I was with a party today with someone new (his party) LFM stated New quest for me, pls no zergs. So I fingered what the heck. Lazy run = fun sometimes and this time it was.

But after running the quest 4 times, its all about the loot so ZURG ON BABY!!!

If it's something I can do in my sleep, like Tangleroot, then I prefer to zerg

If it's something that requires more skill, like Sleeping Dust, then I take my time

Like the other poster, it just depends on the quest. If I know it so well that it's not hard, I will zerg it (this only applies to Korthos and Harbor which are not hard at all, and some other quests though, lol). But most of the time, I don't zerg.
    Random stuff.

I like rock, metal, metalcore, hardcore, and very little death metal.

    I am the magic missile.

I will find some more random stuff to add.

first time ever doing a quest, take my time, slowly explore the entire quest.

in all other cases, ZERG RUSH!

If it's elite and I haven't run it in a while I only go as fast as the one person ahead of me. I'm not going to be the ***clown who gets blown up in a trap. Other than that, unless the LFM states otherwise, full speed ahead.
There is no lag. Just because you had none before and can't play now doesn't mean the server move had anything to do with it.

I like to take my time usually on most of my toons. Make sure I get the quest done with excellence, so that I don't get tripped up with something that came out of nowhere! Like... er... me forgetting that there was a trap around the corner. xD

But.. on my monk... ZERG FEST!

I can't walk by a breakable without breaking it.

If I know there is a breakable around and I will have to walk out of my way to break it, I can't help myself, I have to go break it.

I did actually get through Durk's yesterday without opening each and every cell to get to the breakables. So I guess that was kind of a Zerg run.

I'm not like OCD about it but just the thought that there might be something in a breakable makes me want to break all of them.

After my Durk's run I did ringleader, I had to break all of them. Even the ones that were left after the quest was completed.

Eventually I might get to the point where I will just Zerg everything, I just haven't gotten to that point yet.

Kind of like if you are in the woods and a bear in chasing you and your friend, You don't have to be faster than the bear, you just have to be faster than your friend.

It all depends on the group to me. I usually run the lower level quests alone so I can just zerg through them for the millionth time. But if the party is struggling on a quest then I just take my time.

Biggest indicator I have for zerging is the clerics blue bar. If it is going down fast and short and we are only in the beginning of the quest then I slow down and use more tactics. If the cleric is still full after running halfway through the quest then you know it is a zergfest as nothing is staying alive long enough to hit you.

Another reason I zerg a lot is it seems like a lot of people are scared of Hard or Elite quests. I have soloed quests with a hireling on Hard and then do the same quest with a full party later and they want to do it on Normal!
