    Default Question about longswords

    hi

the sovereign host enhancement says i get a +1 to attack using longswords.
but since i don't have the martial weapons feat, is it better to stick with simple weapons?

    thanks.
When they said to develop a sense of Wanderlust, I thought they said Wander Lost.

Follower of the Sovereign Host: Passive Benefit: +1 To-Hit bonus with Longswords. Active Benefit: expend 1 Turn Undead to gain Dol Dorn's Champion that grants proficiency in Longswords to yourself or a friend.
Lasts until you rest, or change zones, if recollection serves me. So, if you feel like using longswords, you can theoretically stay proficient with them any time you have at least one turn left to "cast" this.

It lasts through rests and all kinds of zoning. Resets only on logout.

You can cast it on everyone in the tavern, and then regenerate the turns by hanging around, and they'll all have longsword proficiency until they logout.

That's interesting. I never thought to cast it on anyone else. I could have been passing people longswords when they forgot to bring an appropriate weapon to a quest.
