I've been having problems to login on both clients (lammania and regular) since update 7 patch 1... I tried reinstalling both clients and NOTHING... yet I only created courage to post this now.
I am so tired of playing Neverwinter Nights 2 , Baldur's gate 2 and Silent Hill Shattered Memories... if I ever hear about the forgotten realms again I think I am gonna puke... after all , I just found out that the forgotten realms is nothing but a sick fabrication of a religious tyrant who looks exactly like the very stereotypical registered sex offender to bring us suffer by making stupid things like Elminster (really?? I am friggin' tired of that stupid mage, he MUST DIE ) and changing core rules from DnD (like making clerics without a deity impossible, stormlords always evil, hags as fey...), and If I ever hear about maine again I think I am gonna throw my wii out of the window...
Okay, now off with the rage speech ... I am having an error , the "login server error" ( " The following error occurred while trying to access "Https://gls-lm.ddo.com/GLS.AuthServer/Service.asmx " ") and before you say "try reinstalling the game" , I tried it, on both clients , with no avail ...
can anyone help me on this... now that the drow finally gained something to make them worth playing my client just went kaputt ...
(I think this might be the wrong section... but I couldn't find any section regarding things related to the game client, and since this concerns lammania as well as the main client, I figured i could try posting this here)
could turbine have blocked IPs from latin america ?

same. ive posted threads, traced, pinged everything. its ddo client and launcher timing out before establishing connection. after a few tries, itll connect. they dont bother with the small stuff, though. it just isnt important to them that people cant get in as they are supposed to. i find im logging in less and less, so in the end, itll cost them money. wont pay if i cant play

I did as you asked... However... That method did not work for me... I am trying this for half an hour and yet i did not get a single successful connection.
I am so tired of this... Tired of the * at Mass Effect Wikia who can't point out the obvious, or spoilers ( spoiler: Matriarch Aethyta is Liara's "father"), tired of playing neverwinter nights 2 , Tired of Playing Silent Hill Shattered Memories (I managed to get the strangest combos of endings and characters though , such as Plain Jane Michelle and Sleaze and sirens, White Trash Dahlia and Love Lost, as well as Prom Queen Michelle and Wicked and Weak ending), tired of playing left 4 dead (Not because of the game, but because of the noobs at steam who only know one weapon : the sucky shotgun) and most importantly, tired of having no one to read my threads.
I wanna play this game REAL bad...however I just can't seem to connect! and it isn't a problem with my connection either (as I said, I am able to play Neverwinter Nights 2, which just got extremely boring)...

After the update. ...

random thought. Windows typically has its own Firewall program. You'll want to go into it and remove any/all turbine programs. Then launch DDO again. This will force windows to ask if you want to allow it or not.

Windows can be stupid at times and not update the fact that a program got updated so has a new signature, hence it will block data from going out so your requests to the servers will go no where.
