How often the mobs have SR on level 10 quests and above?

Is it worth while to buy feats like "Spell Penetration" and "Greater Spell Penetration" and spend on enhancements such Wizard Spell Penetration I through IV?

without knowing too much about your build, I would say yes. Spell pen and damage increase/crit damage are pretty staple. You may not see the benefit at low to mid level much, but after that its a MUST.

Take the feats, train the enhancements and get a spell pen item. Spell pen can be a big deal in the end. Its sucks so bad to see the blue bubble of you just wasted your SP...

Drow are also getting a "buff" to SR come the next update. That's on the player character side, I'm not sure how much it will affect NPCs.

But from the Vale of Twilight up, mobs start getting SR.

And, high DCs on your spells are good, but they mean nothing if that blue circle flashes.

I would *at a bare minimum* suggest 1 Feat, the 1st enhancement tier, and finding yourself a Spell Pen VII or better item.

I almost mentioned the update to Drow for SR (woot!) but I don't think it will affect monsters at all.

Spell pen is needed, if you go bare minimum, you will get minimum results. Spell Pen, Damage/crit %, DC, all play a serious roll in the upper levels.

SR becomes more of a concern once you start running Vale Quests. Before that, its a few spellcasters here and there.
