Default Cleric TR- Clonk Advice required.

Hi all, I'm about to TR into my third and final life (cleric). The past year has lead to this point for me and i've had this in my head since the start.

    The goal is 17Clr, 3Mnk.

    The Problem is Stat Disribution.

Since this is the final playthrough for this character I want it 100%.

The stat distribution problem is mainly with Cha... with 3 past life clerics (+3 turns) would it be viable to have minimal Cha(8) and still be a heavily radient-based healer? Since the clonk is usualy in melee getting Ki and throwing FoL, Recitation, prayer and finishers around, I believe its a solid move... But can the Cha support it?

As far as Str goes i'm going 8 (human) or 6 (halfling) I am not after damage with this build and If I ever get hit with any Str damage I will lose ocean stance and pop on Sun stance. If (at 20) i'm helpless with a +6 item, +2 tome, +2 stance then I deserve to be helpless.

Con, I'm looking at 12. I tried 16 first life and found it too much, but needed due to horrible saves. I tried 14 second life and found it just right. But on this life I think ill go 12, because frankly my gear is pretty up there, My saves should be rediculess, and I have self healing out the ass with a high AC.

Dex... Probebly going to be on the receiving end of all the excess stat points... I want this As high as I can get it to max the reflex investment and (if human) will invest in wep fin to solidify my chance of landing blows for ki generation and FoL.

All in all, it looks incredibly iffy to me which is why I came to the forums asking advice... But I cant put my finger on what exactly is wrong...

    Str-8
    Dex-18
    Con-12
    Int-8
    Wis-18
    Cha-8

I'm looking forward to having a close to unbeatable Reflex and Will save, and a decent enough fort save (with ocean stance it should be perfectly fine)

PS: I also have a +3 tome in both Con and Wis so with a human adaptability in each I should be able to round it up an extra bracket, for extra fort and DC/Sp.

I would worry about a 6-8 STR, not just damage wise but for the aggravation of having to either not pick up anything or sell repeatedly during quest chains. I did the same thing to my TR clonk but with a STR of 10 and I was still getting pulled out of stance constantly. That may just be me though, I'm a pack rat.

I went 16 DEX and could make it through almost any trap, made my swim in Crucible on elite on my first ever try, etc. This is the biggest problem with clonks and you definitely have this covered. Not sure if 18 is that much better than 16 for the build points, but not a bad choice either.

I also dumped CHA and I get 5-7 RS clickies with items. It's enough to keep the aura going through most quests which is good enough, especially if you plan on getting in there with FoL.

Build looks good, most of the stuff I mentioned were just playstyle choices. Like I mentioned earlier, you will get pulled out of stance if +5 mithral fp falls in a chest, but just tell that Horc barb to carry it for you if he wants healing. Let us know how it turns out.
There is no lag. Just because you had none before and can't play now doesn't mean the server move had anything to do with it.

That's human stat distribution, right? I think maxing out two whole attributes is expensive, even for 36 pts. Personally, I'd drop Dex/Wis by 1 or 2 and bump str or con up a bit. If you bump up str to 14, that's like having +3 dmg per hit. That's not a bad investment by itself, if you're looking for a excuse to get more str.

I'll tell you if you start at 8 STR on a Halfling, you'll regret it. The penalty to carrying capacity plus the -2 STR from Ocean means you get burdened when you loot a Potion of Prot Evil.

I was so annoyed by the constant getting thrown out of stance, etc. that I LR'ed her to have 10- 12 with a +2 tome.
