Half-elf help

I am rolling a half-elf wiz and am considering taking the dilettante cleric for healing from wands. I will be taking the archmage(conjuration) PR e. I have read several posts regarding the dilettante choices, and am wondering if paladin ,fav. soul, or other class offers something that I will benefit from more than the cleric choice. I have not played the Lamannia server with the new update, so I would appreciate any input.

I did this with the Clric Dil...I like it for PM later on. Self heal via Inflicting wands and can self heal out of Lich form. I'm just lvl 5 so far and having fun...Pally wont give you inflict but will give you heal and the cha goes well with Sorc. Fav soul is an idea too. I think it will give the same heal options as Cleric and a Cha boost later. (cleric gets Wis)I asked your same question and got some good replys.... The new update seems to indicate Cleric as the best choice if going PM later. Just do your research and listen to the differing bits of advice and make your choice. LOTS of informed people here on the forums. Remember its YOUR game and have fun :-)
