    Just need to post this:

Author of Info Blue UI Skin (Really wish Turbine would update the skinning interface and enable all the new UI parts.)
If you don't have an SSD, you should be using DDOPreload (fixes the slow first login issue)

Well then the easiest solution would be to keep looking around until you find a set of armor you do like the looks of. Like my WF looking for armor that is not pink. Takes time and pp but it can be done.

Personally, I hate the spiky armor that has that one big spike on top of the foot. The rest of the armor looks great but that spike annoys me. Solution: I found a different set that I like better.

Agreed again: the toe spike wouldn't be that bad if the armour had two.
It's the lack of functional symmetry with most armours in DDO that annoys me a bit.

I've done this myself too many times: Buy It, equip it, dump it for a loss because of Skulls.
    I am an AOE....

But what about when symmetry wouldn't be functional? Maybe the spike is on your kicking foot! :-P

The only random robe without skulls on it is the one with the 'MissEberron2010" sash. Even the one with the heart at the belly has a skull clasp at the top when it a more talismanlike design there would actually suit the look of the robe better. Then there's the other one with skulls. And the other one. Oh and the one with skulls... and that's just in the robes.

Not all our characters are Pale Masters or Barbarians.

Glad I finally got my Epic Vulkoorim Fighting Leathers on my main and don't have to stare at skulls on random robes anymore.
Please split the class forums into REAL subcategories this is a jumbled mess.

Eh, I was kind of expecting some reply along those lines.
And truth to be said, some historical suits of armour weren't symmetric because of functionality issues.

    ...

I guess it boils down to what looks nice to the individual wearer/player.
I like symmetry in my suits of armour - unless asymmetry makes more functional sense.
