    Default Can a Bard Heal

I have a 20lv Bard ,and i was just wondering can a Bard solo heal the Shroud. I think it can be done. If i max out I have 1500+sp. My cure mass hits for 150+. I'm going to amp up my healing , and try it. So lets hear what you all have to say!!! The good bad and the ugly I take all input.

Absolutely, I have run a few shrouds with only a bard healing.

If you have 6 150 hit point rogues with no fortification, or if everybody's smacking Harry with their clubs of the holy flame it might get a bit messy, but you can do it

With some groups, for sure, probably easy. Other groups, those that make life hard on full bore healbot type, you gonna be over your head. Its just the RATE of healing that you lack in those cases.

Could take a crew of AA in there and probably not touch a shread of healing supplies if they all know what they are doing. Take a crew of Meat shield Barbs in there and you might not be able to keep up. Rate of healing vs rate of damage...

I certainly think it can be done, and it has been done by bards before you. I have played main healer on my spell singer bards in shroud and vod, but Id pass on doing it in TOD.

At the same time, it would definitely depend on your group. If you're running with guildees or friends you know who have the right gear/weapons, and you are wearing the right gear and have the right enhancments/feats, then you should do fairly well, assumming no poorly timed lag spike. If you are with a pure pug, odds are some folks are going to die, but heck they were probably going to anyway.

Considering 12 Rogues can complete a Shroud, I think a dedicated healbot Bard can solo heal any half-decent Shroud run.

The screenshot is gone, but there was an 11 Ranger/1 Bard run over two years ago.

Thought the bard was along just to sings songs and Taunt the Sir Robin's of the group! Healing Smealing...rangers tend to their own boo-boos.

Well, considering it was Garth as the Bard, it is possible.

    Yes bards can heal.

Except maybe the one my guildie was running Shroud with the other night. Apparently that one did not meet expectation and ran out of SP too fast.

Just make sure everyone fighting has Neutralize Poison because without Mass Heal to fix that, it could cause problems. But Bards have that spell so no biggie. It can be done.
