It was a pretty bad trade. I've run both quests plenty of times(perhaps 50+ each) and i've seen one or two pairs of these precious boots drop. Spectral gloves drop quite often, i think about one per two runs in the long average. Seen about thirty or more gloves dropping. So my pricecheck advise would be - doesnt even compare.
Having said that, boots are basically TR twink gear, so its not exactly vital piece to have, which is not true for the gloves..

Actually Tarragon it has been my experience that they are equally as rare. Also the gloves are more highly sought after than the boots.

Latter, i aggree, former i do not. But i admit, that the longterm experience is based on Keeper loot tables and i am not 1005 certain, they are the same.
