Default Slay Living Guard or Concordant Opposition for WF Archmage Googles?

    Hey there,

Crafting my first pair of GS googles for my WF wizzie and was deliberating between Slay Living Guard or Concordant Opposition.... what do you guys think would be more useful?

What else are you putting on them besides the guard and how often do you like being hit?

More people go all-neg for immunities, but WF automatically have most of those.

First item, Concordant Opposition goggles all the way.
    +10 Diplomacy, +10 Haggle, +6 Wisdom
On-being-hit chance, gain 30 temporary hit points or restore 22-32 spell points, 4% chance on each
    150sp
    Wizardry VI
    +2 exceptional INT
    +3 Exceptional CHA

Second item, I would recommend Triple Pos HP boots
    True Resurrection (1/day)
On-being-hit 3~5% chance, undead destroyed, will save DC unknown
    +45 HP
    +3 exceptional CON

I get hit a lot, my playing style is to zerg and pull a train behind me, displace/stoneskin and drop firewalls when jumping around (with or without shield). Was wondering if slay living would be better for my playstyle...

Torc + CO googles for a WF zerg wizard is all you really need. You get a TON of mana back sometimes, and if you didn't gimp you con (HP) you can take a lot of hits.

I don't see the point to proc guard items on an arcane, sorry.

No doubt at all that it's Conc Opp.

So out of all possible equipment, Epic or not, a pair of CO goggles are still the best option for a Wizzy?

    For me, yes.

I wouldn't slot Wizardy 6 though; plenty of Wizardry 6 or Archmagi out there. May as well slot Blindness ward in the first slot. Here's kinda my general plan:

I don't make HP boots because I tend to swap boots around more than other slots.
Ghallanda - now with fewer alts and more ghostbane

That's true, FF boots, and striders are useful, but the cloak spot is generally reserved for the reaver napkin. You can put the triple pos HP on a cloak as well, which is another excellent spot for it. The only reason this is even mentioned is for a 2ND GS item. Con OP goggles just can't be beat for a first wiz item.

I'd put HP on a helmet, esp. on a forged.
