Thanks for the compliments sir! You can't have a party without the beer!
Also, you may go explody every time a Fire Elemental glances at you, but you did a great job of following directions and doing what was needed on your end.

Intel req'd and OR are both some really good guild.
I have ran my first abbot with intel, i learned to zerg with OR.
I saw some OR that were really funny (guyo lol) and really pleasant to run with, all my experiences with you guys proved that you were the top of the top.
In the intel side, really fun runs, solid players and really helpful learning runs.
Overall I love orien guilds lol.
Well we greatly appreciate all of the compliments.
Our main focus is to be a guild based on helping others learn and accomplish what they would like to accomplish in the game without ridicule for not knowing what they're doing.
Our guild name is based off a simple principle that we don't care how much experience you have, but Intelligence is Required. We don't mind teaching people what they need to know, as long as you're willing to learn.
The main reason this guild began was because of the LFMs that say "No Gimps, Experienced People Only, No Noobs... Etc."
In all seriousness, we sat there looking at these LFMs and thought... "If you are so AWESOME that you can't group with less experienced players, then why can't you just group with less experienced players and show them the way."
We let everyone into our raids. Regardless of build, experience, gear because we know that our guild is strong enough to help boost others and allow them to gain their experience and get their gear with our help.

I don't have any problems teaching people new things. If a person is new to a raid, thats not a problem. Throwing out a few helpful hints never hurt me. However, just because a guild doesn't allow people with limited knowledge of the game doesn't mean they don't want to teach or help anyone but themselves. I have no problem with Intel wanting to teach knew people, but don't pass your judgement on others, just because they have a standard.
Who did I pass judgment on exactly? I didn't point anyone out, nor did I say whether or not anyone was right or wrong.
I may have worded it wrong, but the main point I'm making is that the leaders of Intel Rq'd have made it a group of unselfish people that are willing to teach ANYONE, without having "standards." If you're willing to learn, we're willing to help. Intel Rq'd is focused on helping players that don't meet other people's standards.
My original build was a 16 Paladin, 3 Monk, 1 Wizard with 350 hit points... I didn't know ANY of the quests, and constantly got lost in slayer areas. I had never played an MMO, and knew NOTHING about D&D.
I put up with months of people declining me and kicking me from groups because I didn't know where a quest was or because they didn't like my build, or because I didn't meet their standards. So, I started my own groups and started grouping with others who didn't meet other people's "Standards" and that's how we ended up making this guild. I, for one, could have learned a lot faster if someone had actually HELPED me rather than just passing judgment on me and assuming I couldn't keep up.
I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers or offend anyone with my comments, I have no issue with other guilds or other people having "standards" about who can and can't join their groups. That's their prerogative. Just like it's ours to help whoever we like, without needing standards.
So please Favorite, don't attack me over a simple comment that I made.
Definition of a "standard": "serving as a basis of weight, measure, value, comparison, or judgment"

Ye it was just worded wrong. I admire what you guys do over at Intel and love many of your players. I just wasn't quite sure where you were headed with that last statement. But, I was in the same boat you were in. It took me a good 6-7months of playing this game just to learn what greensteel was and I still didn't fully understand it. I do think its great that there is a good guild, while not a raiding guild but is capable of running high end conten, is willing to except some of the newer players (or old ones who have been rejected like dyna for their odd build![]()

Yah, this post is almost 3 months old, thus the confusion, I've edited my original post to better reflect our current philosophies.
