Rogue Dilettante Question

Soo.... anyone know if the Rogue Dilettante works with ranged attacks?

If so, what conditions need to be met before I can get the bonus damage?

If it counts as sneak attack damage, you must be within 30 feet of our target and your target can not be targeting you.

Correct. Unless you're using a pet and they have aggro or you "surprise attack" in which case only the 1st attack will have SA applied...if they're close enough, of course.

You can if you use a hireling or summons

Some of the paladins work pretty well.

Something else I'm wondering, does the rogue past life feat work with the Rogue Dilettante?

I've got a rogue I'd like to "fix", mostly because the 3.5 P&P rogue I loved so much.... doesn't really exist here....

There is no "surprise attack" with ranged weapons. If you are within 30ft to get the sneak attack damage, the mob will have you targeted before you get the shot off. If you are sneaking to get into the 30ft range the mob will still target you before they are hit because you un-sneak before you attack for some reason.
