    Default 36 pt TR rogue

    HI!
I want to TR again my old barb into a dwarf rogue. This will be my first try as rogue so need advice. I think the best dps is pure rogue/assasin with str base and in this form will use dwarven axes ( i got 2 lightingII ).
But need help with skills and feats. I want a dps toon but will do rogues jobs: like disarm anything .
I got most of gear (2 weapon, unique items, epic vuulkor leather, maybe craft epic spectral if im TR ),a few xp pot etc, just need help before is start this...

    Thanks.

It's a strong build, a little less reliant on sneak attack damage than the halfling version. You do realize that you'll have to take exotic proficiency: Daxe, yes? Dorf pure rogues do not get this feat because they do not have martial weapon proficiency.

Still doable, you're just not gaining a feat on the kopesh users by going dorf.

The feats for rogues are pretty easy. You'll definitely need:

    Power Attack
    Toughness
    Imp Critical: Slashing
    TWF
    ITWF
    GTWF

Now there's room for one more feat as a pure, Daxe proficiency fits nicely. IF you chose to give up 4d6 from the capstone for a level of fighter that would result in TWO extra feats since Daxe proficiency is no longer needed. You'd also have 14 extra hp from the fighter level and assuming you spend 1 AP on fighter toughness.

Potential uses for the 2 extra feats from 19/1 fighter splash:

Quickdraw - Highly recommended, this will make back some of the damage you're missing out on from the capstone with quicker haste boost activation times.
Skill Focus: UMD - Ideally you can reach 40 UMD for no fail heal scrolls in some other manner but it takes some gear. There's nothing wrong with using this feat instead of using a spot for a UMD item.
2nd Toughness: As a Dwarf with the 14 extra hp from fighter you probably shouldn't need this. Then again, more HP is never bad.
Sneak of Shadows(rogue plf): I plan on taking this for my TRd rogue, its +1 to all skill and 3x 1:00 clickies for 10 stacking sneak attack damage at cap(1 damage per 2 levels so take it late) and some secondary attack and stealth bonuses during that time.
Soldier of Faith(pally plf): 3x Divine Favor clickies for +3 to attack and damage. Nice for a low BAB class and adds significant damage, I think they're over 2 minutes in length each. For comparisons sake, scrolls last :30 and give +1 to attack and damage.. not even worth the effort
Sap - Some people like this feat in epics. You basically run up and hypno/fascinate something which is decent if the rest of your party doesn't hit them. I've never used it personally.
Iron Will - Like most rogues you will likely end up with slippery mind and a poor will save. You kinda get double mileage out of this feat due to slippery mind and with the dwarven enchantment resistance line you could make it VERY hard for casters to mess with you if that's a priority.

So basically, if you think that two of the above feats are worth more to your build than 4d6 and +2 int from the capstone then go 19/1. I'd say one of the capstones and quickdraw would come close to being worth the sacrifice but then again maybe not.

1 barb level is definitely not worth the loss of the capstone anymore and I wouldn't recommend less than 19 rogue levels because you'd miss out on a d6 of damage and your 4th rogue feat.

You can definitely scroll master's touch for proficiency but you will find it tedious, especially so as a two weapon fighter and even more so if you are using a few weapon sets and down right obnoxious in areas where you get debuffed (beholders etc).

There is no reason to take spend feats or AP for Trap skills. You can hit epic traps without them

    23 Ranks
    15 Item
    2 Luck
    4 GH
    3 +6 INT
    2 Base 14 INT
    1 Capstone

That's 50. With +5 Tools, you need 52 to no fail (fail on a 1 but it's not critical and you can try again). These are the more common effects. Make a GS INT skills item for no failing, but there are additional effects.

Light splashes were a viable idea before the new capstone, and they still are now. The capstone is 4d6 SA damage.. that's an average of more than 10 additional damage per hit. That's huge. Do you know how much time some people spend to get a Bloodstone? That adds less than 5 damage per hit.

Fighter splashes do have their benefits, but do remember you are giving up other things as well.
