    Default Rs Bs!

Alright, as I've started playing my cleric again after a long while, I re-did her enhancements to pick up radiant servant. Liked it, loved it...HATED IT! In a way.

What's the point of having to have no target to cast it? I mean, it's not, ok this person is out of range...they're standing right next to me. They're in my party....they get it's benefits! I'm just usually targeted on the main tank, unless I "tab" a mob to cast an offensive spell. I mean do I really have to worry that much about where I'm targeted in the middle of combat to cast this thing?

It's clear I do, but I hate it! Whaaaaa :'(

Ok, I'm good now...I let it all out, like a 16 year old school girl who lost her boyfriend to the popular chick.

not a bad gripe as far as gripes go.
should be treated as a self targeting spell in my opinion.
for example: nightshield. try to cast it on someone else and it lands on you.

suggestion for until they change it (could be forever or never).
if you want to cast the aura just hit the f1 key and the key that's on your hotbar for
the aura and then use the f# for whoever the main tank is to be back on them for heals.

using the fkeys (f1-f6) is much easier than clicking on party members (or their names) in my
opinion for healing. though in raids it can get to be like playing a piano on your keyboard.
    (yay for healing raids )

Or...use a macro for the aura that would include /target <self> /cast <aura> and hotkey it.

    that would be great.

for now though, i just right click off to stop targeting. Sure, you could do F1 - F6, but that takes more time in my opinion. I'm not really using my mouse pointer for anything else (during combat) anyway, so I just keep it on top of the party names. That way I can click and cast simultaneously instead of F1 - heal hotkey. I'm gonna get used to it I'm sure, this is just the first few quests I've run with it.
