NAMED loot is an open invitation to bragging/epeen by it's very nature. Kinda like owning a rare baseball card as opposed to something unfit for clipping to your bike wheel, etc.

So, assuming my math isn't horribly flawed (no guarantees) SoS is better than Lit 2 if you have 38 bonus damage, assuming no DR is applied to either.
You auto miss on a one which assuming you confirm on a 1 will affect the regular hits but not the crit stuff. Will lower that x slightly.

Not really important since 16 PA + 16 str + 4 racial bonus + class stuff + buffs easily bumps you above that number.

Has anyone tried the upgrades to the weapons from Lordsmarch and this new pack? Wanting to see the handwraps finished.

Here are a few upgrades I made, was too busy trying to not die from dragons, beholders, epic velah and such spawning near the crafting cauldron.

    Master Transmuter Staff

    Petrifying Hooked Blade

    Vampiric Stonedust Wraps

Scepter of the Ogre Magi, since nobody seems to have seen it drop.

It's just a lapsus, or "Call Lightning Storm" doesn't exist as spell in game yet? (On live)

    1. Create Helf.
    2. Level to 9.
    3. Take Greater Dragonmark of Storm.
    4. Cast Call Lightning Storm.

    OR

    1. Run Tempest's Spine
    2. Reach Sor'jek.
    3. Sor'jek casts Call Lightning Storm.

Sure, it's only a +5 adamantine weapon, with no other special bonuses, but it takes the best parts of falchions, greatswords, and greataxes. Looking at it, you see the damage is 2d6 (greatswords do the most non-crit average damage), the threat range is 17-20 (falchions have the best threat range) modified to 15+ if you have improved crit, and the critical multiplier is x3 (greataxes have the best crit multiplier). This means that with SoS you'd be hitting for the same basic numbers as your Lightning 2 on crits, but you'd have 3 times the number of critical hits with the SoS. Get your damage bonus to a good level, and the SoS will pull close to Lit 2, or even ahead when you get a really good damage bonus.

Since you asked for it, I'll go ahead and expand the math a bit to see just where SoS becomes better. Anybody who doesn't want to deal with lots of numbers may consider this post finished. If I missed something or did some screwy math, I apologize.
    For the numbers:

First, assumptions used are as follows:
Average damage for 1d6 is 3.5
Average damage for 1d10 is 5.5
most commonly sited numbers that I've personally seen imply a 1-2% chance for the lightning strike to occur, and it deals about 600 damage.
Holy/Shock/Shock is used for the Lightning 2.

A Lightning 2 greataxe should offer the following average damage:
    10.5+5=15.5 base damage
    15.5*3*0.1=4.65 crit damage
    7 holy damage
    3.5 non crit lightning
    .1*11=1.1 shocking burst crit
    .1*11=1.1 shocking blast crit
    .05*14=0.7 shocking blast vorpal
    .02*600=12 Lightning strike
45.55 average damage without adding your own damage bonus.
Next add 1+.1*3=1.3 for each point of damage bonus you have.

Sword of Shadow will be the following:
    7+5=12 base damage
    12*3*0.3=10.8 crit damage
    22.8 without damage bonus
Add 1+.3*3=1.9 for each point of damage bonus.

Now, to see when SoS catches up:
    45.55+1.3x=22.8+1.9x
    x=37.6167
So, assuming my math isn't horribly flawed (no guarantees) SoS is better than Lit 2 if you have 38 bonus damage, assuming no DR is applied to either.
Your math is a little flawed, although I applaud the attempt. You basically "double add" the base damage on crit attempts. Either you need to calculate a factor of (1-crit chance) to the base damage or take away a multiplier (use x2 instead of x3, because when a multiplier is x3, it adds x2 over the base damage for a total of 3). This results in you biasing towards the weapon with the better crit profile (the SoS).

Based on this, I created a spreadsheet to calculate a new "x" and found that it was 62.

    Lit2 GA vs (basic) SoS:

    Spreadsheet here:
    https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?...en&output=html

Hope this helps, and I didn't want to derail the thread, but math needs correction!

The bags now show all possible cookies and cakes instead of being general bags like a collectable bag would be.

DDOWiki. Apparently their info is outdated.

Also note that the Abishai cookies hint at a hidden effect when you nom more than one. "You feel the urge to eat other abishai cookies besides this one, maybe something good will happen!"

How do you only have 382 HP on a capped Monk???

My level 14 has exactly 42 less than you do, and is missing GLF, Dragon Favour, and a Shroud item.

Shabam, where'd the cloak come from? It's pretty **** nice. I might consider using that on my capped Warchanter once I get an Epic Ring of the Silver Concord to replace my Bard's Cloak. Resist 4, song regen, and a guard, plus a boost to Fascinate DC?
