Drow can have 30 SR without enhancements after Update 8? WHAT?

So they can be a ranger w/ Slayer Arrows and now they're that much harder to stop?

450+ HP, Pale Lavender Ioun Stone, and 30 SR with Manyshot, STR damage, Slayer Arrows, and a Lightning Strike or Disintegration Bow = OP!

They had better seriously nerf rangers and give me an awesome sorcerer PRE or I'm going to contact the BBB.

The other day my Imbued Shard of Supreme Power (Earth) went missing too! I couldn't finish my HP item.

I think the devs are picking on me for real because this one GM dude, the same guy, has banned me twice so far.

And when he did it he didn't even let me respond or nothin' I was actually typing to him. Not giving any more details though.

Suggestion: Stop making PvP so one-sided towards anything with a bow!

Drow ranger arcane archer... I see they only create some of this to harras you.
But seriously, don't you break 30 SR on regular baisis? Base 55% + all ecnchantments required to endgame spell penetration + irem of Spell Penatration...

Caster lvl 18 with +2 to spell pen via enhancements which makes my spell pen 20. I'd have to roll an 11 after Update 8.

Maybe one of the perks to the Sorcerer PrE if they ever make it could be bypassing all SR!

3 wizard past lives will give +6 spell pen. So no, they are making that Wiz flavor, it shouldn't be part of sorc PrEs - and complete bypass would never make sense in any event.

You're probably not going to see very many arcane archers that are drow characters. Drow don't get the racial benefits to using a bow that elves do.

However, even if you do... It doesn't bother me that your specific character build won't be able to hit a 30 sr very well. There are plenty of other caster builds that will do just fine on them.

You made the choices to not get all of the spell pen enhancements.. You made the choices to not pick up any spell pen feats.... It really doesn't concern me very much that your over specialization results in not being able to do everything.

20 caster level +4 feats +3 enhancements +2 item =29 spell pen, without any past lifes or epic gear needed.

CL 20 +3 Enhancements +2(or +4) from feats +2/3 Items...

So, that's, what, a 3 or better to beat drow SR? And they're actually low...they're supposed to be 12+HD, not 10+HD.

If you have all feats and good items, you're actually looking at a +30 on SR checks. That's 1 higher than no-fail.

(AFAIK, 1's and 20's don't auto-anything on SR Checks)
