    Default Premium Services: World Character Transfer

    Hiho,
    8 days ago I initiated a premium service to transfer the new toons from ghallanda to "my" server. They advertised this service with 2-4 days. After 5 days I wrote an inquiry to the support. Neither for the premium service nor to the inquiry I got any answer or at least an acknowledgement of receipt. Anyone else experienced such a delay? As a vip subscriber I at least expect some personal cant that someone is taking care of my inquiries..;-)

    same here, when i ordered it was indicated 2-4 days, then i checked again some few days after and it was 1-2 weeks, now if you check the webpage it is said that the service is currently closed. and i dont think you will ahev a different service as being a vip since you pay as much for a transfer as f2p and premium.

    Agree with that vip-premium-services. But they advertise for the vip with full customer service - there at least I can expect an answer to my ticket after a few days. Hell, I work in an IT-system house and if we would wait just more then 4 hours with an answer to a ticket, well...I assume other rules here...;-)

    Unfortunately, the only acknowledgment you get that a tranfer request has been accepted is a confirmation page after you have entered all the details. There is no automated email sent or even a ticket number that you can refer to, to see the status of the services ordered. Imo this is pretty poor considering it is a service that you pay for. Normally when you purchase something, you get a reciept for it, which is what should happen with regards to buying premium services.

    I have 7 characters stuck in mid server transfer limbo, have been for 10 days now and I haven't seen or heard anything yet - they really must be raking in those 20$ a character if they are completely unable to keep up. Guess its an other waiting game for us, and I hope they extend the timeframe for the 20% discount on world transfer for those that did not make it before the close down.

    Yeah, I'd really like to get an acknowledgement email and a reference number to use if/when contacting Turbine about it. Seems odd that there's no way to check up on it at all.

    Yes i wish there was some form of email to make sure what u asked for is right before they go ahead and do it.

    Well people, this is just a game. All the services that come with providing it and the providing itself is not to be taken seriously. While the actual in game happenings, that have only the possibility of affecting the pixel world, are dead serious.

    As of November 11, 2010, World Character Transfers between all Turbine servers are currently disabled due to a technical issue. We apologize that we are not able to process Transfers for you at this time, and are working to resolve the underlying issue as soon as possible. For now, all Transfer requests will remain in the queue, and will be processed in the order they were originally received once we are able to process Transfers again. If you would like to cancel your Transfer request you may call Account Management or submit a cancel request via this form (and please select “Premium Service Cancel Request” as your Type of Issue).

    Please note that this will NOT affect incoming European Character transfers from Keeper/Devourer to Ghallanda.

    We are happy to confirm that Character and Guild Renames are still available and being processed in the order they are received.
