Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
- Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
- Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
- Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
- Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
- Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.
These are pretty awesome. We'll be seeing a lot more half elves running around
I don't think I'd use Favored Soul & Sorcerer on a real character. Simply worse than the other two. Level +1 to their class so they can use scrolls & wands as good? Or maybe a tiny bit extra SP.
My TR completionist-tobe archer's going to be happy. I was planning on elfing her all lives, but these look more fun.
- Bard or Rogue for anyone with Bow Str & Prof.
- Paladin for anyone with just Bow Str.
- Ranger for people with neither

I disagree on this for balance reasons. Both the cleric and the wizard require investment in stats not nearly as common as charisma. 5% additional failure chance is a small price to pay to be able to use one of these dillies on a cha based build rather than wis or int.
Improved bard should give some sort of perform skill so that fascinate thingy could be useful.
So ... Im a bit confused ... do the caster enhancements give anything other than scroll usage? Making sure Im not missing something.
See, even the EULA says its a game and supposed to be fun. EvilDuckie-DuckieBotOriginally Posted by EULA
If i ever play enough to tr my monk, it will probably be a half elf
While leveling, cleric dilettante will make self healing no problem at all with wands/scrolls and easy rezzing without UMD
Helvs have some healing amp, which can be combined with monk healing amp, which combined with heal scrolls at lv 15 (95% success rate i think) will easily fully heal me
If i ever get enough UMD, or decide i want more dps than utility, rogue dilettante for more sneak attack then a halfing, at the cost of less ap
Also the stats of helves r the same as humans, which is great for monk because they are M.A.D
Now how do figure out those AP

Is it worth 1 feat instead of human?
Maybe, maybe not.
As it shall be!
This gave more options, not something totally op that made all into one path.

(I think i still pref humans but... not 100%)
Question will the caster dills stack with umd? Like if u have a 95% chance to use a scroll can u get just a few points of mud to get you to the 100%?
I was thinking monk, myself. You'd approach some of the heavier healing amp builds while being able to stay pure for the capstone - 1.2 (helf) * 1.3 (HotD III) * 1.2 (monk dill) = 187% heal before gear comes in. A full set of 10/20/30 winds up with 321%. Little bit of point spread, but you could probably get away with it on a TR.
Probably not. Iirc, a character with UMD and a splash of something uses whichever is better, not a total of the two.

No. It will merely use whichever gives the better chances of success. So unless you kick your UMD over ~35 it will simply use the caster level check if you have the enhancements spent on raising your effective level in your dilettante class.
So... its more a matter of will you spend the gear slots and skill points to get effective UMD, or will you spend the AP on enhancements to save on gear slots and skill points for almost as good as UMD chances of success?

These definitely seem to flesh out Helfs into an actual playable race and have cemented my plans for a AA Cleric nicely.

Yes indeed, to bad further points in UMD will not shorten this gap.
Well 6AP total is on the other sight a tight point for a Paladin that need quite some AP bumped in the PrE and damage lines while UMD as well include restricted gear. So it is not only the question if one can grind out the gear to achieve UMD over ~35.
But for someone with a very first Character that not yet has a bank full of twink gear and who is soloing a lot this is a very nice option. We should further not forget that this not only give us 'Raise Dead' for free but as well some of the buff spells like 'Spell Resistance' or 'Mass Aid'. Even 'Flame Strike' and 'Greater Command' are level 10 scrolls. Further the skill points then can go all in balance, tumble and intimidate instead of UMD.
