Genasi,
Not sure if you're still monitoring this thread or not, but I thought I would let you know that my stonedust wraps do not appear to be casting Stone Prison on a vorpal roll anymore. I currently have them upgraded to Vampiric Stonedust Wraps and on a natural 20, there does not appear to be an indicator, visually or in the combat log, that Stone Prison is being attempted. I cannot verify if the base stonedust wraps suffer the same problem as I did not attempt to use them at all prior to upgrading.
Edit: Additionally, when watching the combat log and the wraps are equipped, it produces text indicating that both Stunning +6, Lesser Vampirism and, when in Earth Stance, Path of the Guardian Stone are all applying, however there is no text indicating that the Stone Prison ability is in effect.
I have bug-reported this in game as well.

I've been playing with the stonedust handwraps in the upgraded form and the DC is higher than 17 (it is a DC of ~27). It is just a description that needs updating.Originally Posted by LupusVai

Just to make this clear, the increase from the outfit does not stack with the increase from the bracers in earth stance. On my lvl 20 monk I got only one increase with both on (non-TR, so 2d12). Past life should stack with each of them, but the other effects are both from items so don´t stack.

Yeah i have made the Petrifying War Bow, and the DC of Stone Prison is 17, awful , i have been testing it and it doesnt work on anything! shoot more than 100 mobs only a few have failed on that DC!
There is no good in doing such bow, an GreenSteel with Earth Grab is much more powerful and damaging one.
The Stone Prison does hit more often than a DC17 fort save would indicate, thinking it's the same description issue as the rest of the gear. It's still not a good bow for a ranged character with any of the possible upgrades.
The Demon Fever isn't going to hit often with a bow and you'd be better off with just a plain wounder.
Destruction is nice, but a lot of random drops you can find on the auction house for cheap will be more interesting than the grind for this.
The one glimmer of light I was seeing was some interesting tricks with Bodyfeeder during manyshot with a room full of mobs, but when you do that upgrade you just get the lame Lifeshield effect instead.

Yes well, i think they have some DC behind the scene, becouse on Duels you can see, as other posts before mine, that the guy roll a 15 +11 and fail the save. But, when attacking mobs it isnt any good.
I was hitting the entire Siegebraker with that bow and well... even the Kobolds resisted ...
I also tryed to destroy the item in the cauldron but even it rejects !
I am trying to do the Destruction version now for epics, will see if there is any good. or else this is only a first-timer char item.

Easier to check stuff DDO-wiki.
How many dwarves does it take to screw in a lightbulb ?!?
Three. Two to get a ladder under it, one to try to climb up until he realizes the ladder is bugged.
A 32+ point monk shouldn't need stunning +10 wraps before 20th level. You are hurting your DPS by a great amount by using +1 icy burst of stun +10 or similar...
If you have power attack turned on, or are moving and attacking, and you miss because of +1 wraps vs. +4 or +5 then you have lost a lot of damage.
+5 of stunning will do 8 more damage per critical hit compared to a +1 of stunning. 12 more damage on an earth x3 finisher, and so on..
Wisdom is not a dump stat for monks.
My 34 point monk uses +5 shock icy burst of Stunning +2 wraps at level 14 and very rarely is her stun resisted on normal difficulty. I usually fight in Wind Stance for +1 more stun DC compared to Fire. If I have an easy time landing hits then I might switch to Icy Burst Seeker +10 wraps of Stunning +2 for extreme stunning damage. I'd happily switch to a stunning +6 with special abilities when Im fighting very high CON monsters if I need the stun more often.
