Wow, wasn't expecting Update 8 news so quickly. I'm excited to go and check out this cosmetic system. I hope there are some good armor sets in there since we can't use existing ones.

Really like the changes to trap making. They still might be a bit too expensive considering how few high level elemental trap boxes there are, but I really appreciate getting more traps for the investment. 5 mines just went by way too fast.

Looking forward to trying the changes.

... are there any alternate ways of getting the Lammania client?

I tried using the Pandio Downloader(I hate this even more than the old TDM) between update7 & 7.1 previews (downloading it to an external drive, i'm using Window7/64 bit) and wound up with an unplayable client after installation. Some files were missing or corrupted IIRC. This is my new Rig and i'm still getting used to Windows7.

Anyone else have this problem or any tips on my next attempt?

Ok, for some odd reason, no matter which character I use, I get the same thing when the store pops up;

This area of the Store does not contain anything for your character's class and level. New items are always being added to the Store, so check back often.

100 to 1 a huge surge in drow population incoming when this goes live. LOL. Very cool they finally gave the drow some much needed love. Too bad I dont have one anymore.

You know how if you have a halfling and a warforged standing next to each other, both holding greatswords, the warforged's sword is bigger?

I guess that function works for breasts on female characters too. Why did her boobs magically get bigger for that outfit?

WF doesn't care about how they look. Everyone who looks at WF are dead in a second anyways

Does U8 include making monk speed equal to PnP (33% per 3 levels instead of 5%)?
