I must get this off my chest.
The 'first' time I started playing DDO, I was running VON 2 for the first time. This was more than 2 years back; long before the penalty box.
The leader stressed that I must Alt-F4 if I fell off. I was indeed blown off, but before I could slam Alt-F4, I failed the group. I was cussed out, understandably, but I felt so badly that I quit for nearly a year before coming back to the game.
Yes, I was a noob. But, I came back, I then found the forums and learned much, and today I'm proud to say that I'm a much more advanced noob, with better lootz.
Please....don't be too hard on the newbs.
