Default Doesn't good vs. holy also depend on alignment?

I never did shroud crafting up to now, so this might be a stupid question, but if you compare good vs. holy, shouldn't you also take into account that some toons cannot use pure good weapons?

For example my barbarian is true neutral, no UMD. When I craft a GS Min II weapon I guess I have to use holy for getting metalline+good on my weapon, since I won't be able to equip a "good" weapon?

Or is this different with shroud weapons and you don't have to have the alignment or the UMD score?

I would be really interested to now this...

The Shroud weapons don't follow alignment rules. The weapons themselves are considered evil (bypass eladrin and brelani DR in Running w/ the Devils), and non-good characters may use weapons with either Holy or Good Burst at no penalty.

Someone mentioned in a thread one time that the Unholy weapon property may cause negative levels or require UMD, but I can't recall whether that was ever corroborated, and with the incredibly low number of good monsters we fight in the game, making such a weapon is generally pretty pointless.

Holy and Unholy on Shroud weapons follow the exact same rules they do on a randomly generated weapon.

An evil character (if such were possible) would get a negative level using a Holy weapon. A good character gets a negative level using an Unholy weapon. There is no UMD check for this. It cannot be avoided.

Good Burst and Evil Burst (and Good Blast and Evil Blast) are different. They are not the same thing as Of Pure Good or Of Pure Evil. There is no negative level for anyone, and no UMD check for anyone.
