Need help thinking about a 8monk/12ranger

I have been kicking around the idea of a kensi II monk. What do you guys think is this a viable build? I would think it would be a fast attack monk. Are there any builds already out there?

Kensai is a Fighter PrE...so no idea what you're really trying to get at here...

I believe you mean Tempest instead of Kensai, which does make sense for increasing your number of attacks. I haven't seen a build that is 8 monk / 12 ranger, but I have seen one that is 12 monk / 6 ranger / 2 fighter. I think the ideal split would depend on whether you're going dark monk or light monk. If dark monk, you would probably want to take 9 monk so that you get Touch of Death.

What I am thinking about is the at lvl 6 ranger you get improved two weapon fighting and pick up tempest I, then at 11 you get greater two weapon fighting and at 12 you get tempest II. So your unarmed attack speed would be really fast. but you would loose hit dice of the natural increase for monk. I was looking at the Godhand build and that was what got me thinking about it. But the natural grated two weapon fighting feats that you get as a ranger at lvl 6 and 11 seem powerful for a monk.

It DOES affect un-armed. I've got 2 monk-splash rangers and I situation ally use wraps. I get 100% off-hand attacks.

I was referring to the attack speed increase, but thanks for clarifying that.
