    Default Dear clerics,

please stop standing next to Harry with your Aura up and throwing cure lights, this is not an effective way to heal and usually causes a party wipe.

Is it ok if they throw mass cure mods and mass heals? :P

A maximized empowered cure mod is nearly as good as a mass heal but for whatever reason every time I see someone using this strategy we die and usually the cleric dies first. Sigh.

Simple empowered cure lights covers 90% of healing required in shroud. Supplement cure mod for the other 10%.

I learned that the first few second of my very first shroud run. There was no wipe, though i was wondering why i was taking that much damage for no reason. And that was before the Healing Aura.. (well its good though it is situational and doesn't require a rocket science diploma to understand that..)

My cleric can stand toe-to-toe with Harry, I build them tough.

However, I don't do that. One mistake, a bit of lag, whatever and the party is in trouble.

The remaining cleric/fvs can probably handle it, but why put that pressure on them?

An easy part 4 becomes a lot harder.

almost, cept it doesn't remove the poisens and what have ya's.
one cleric throwing mass heals can keep a group up, with minimal SP.

Those players should have the forethought to cast Neutralize Poison on themselves via pot. There's no excuse not to.

Even if they all had proper buffs items, its still worth casting if your melee can survive the cooldown due to its sp cost.

    Default Dear Melee's

Please get some hit points and a some sort of Proof against poison. ALso get some weapons that break DR so that you dont have to be in there longer than necessary.

    Thanks.
Clerics who are tired of being blamed for poor melee performance.

So you were in there solo Meleeing? I generally have at least 7 or 8 folks in melee...

700 hit points is decent.. but not impressive.

-15 points of damage per swing isnt important? interesting.. That sheds a lot of light on your commentary

You have one bad Shroud and are looking to lay the blame, then make a hugely generalized uninformed comment in your OP, and yet you take umbrage at people giving him a +1 for the same?

Besides, it points out the flaws in your negative post(whether you agree or not), thereby making a positive contribution to a discussion...that is perfect reason for a +1.

Oh, and while DR breakers on normal aren't NECESSARY, they can make the difference between a 1-rounder and a 2-rounder, or even push a 2-rounder into a 3-rounder, etc., thereby making a good cleric look bad, or causing said cleric to have to spend as many plat on pots as you should have spent on DR breakers, but felt it was "unnecessary". All this for a raid that should be able to be solo healed without the use of pots.

I have 700 hit points and a minII, besides you don't need DR breakers on normal. At any rate how do you let people DIE in part 4? Easiest raid in the game, nobody should be dying in part 4.
