QUestions about a Barbarian DR tank.

Hey community. I recently rolled a HUman Barbarian with the intention of making hima DR intimitank, and I have 2 main questions about him. The first one is can I afford to drop FB on a tank buiild? I know its good, but taking a tentative look at my enhs, I noticed I'd be spread out a bit thin for tanking, with the DR, resistance, toughnesses and Con enhs to rage and base eating up a lot of AP. Also, self damaging attacks seem a bit self-defeating when it comes to tanking. My second question is if I should go 18 con (str will be 16 at any rate) or if those extra points are better spent elsewhere (like beefing CHa perhaps) Thanks for the replies.

I was running a Dwarf DR Inimitank for a while, and it was interesting. The prerequisites for the Frenzied Berzerker prestige class took up so many important action points, that it was better for me to skip the prestige.

However, as I neared level 12, I began to notice that my DR Intimitank build became less viable for me; so I dropped the elemental resistances and some other stuff to invest fully into the Frenzied Berzerker line.

I wouldn't put points into CHA, as there are plenty of Intimidate bonus items out there.

I'm leveling it with a pure support bard, so I really need to be able to cover her behind so to speak. So I should respec at level 12 for FB then? I suppose I'll do 16 str, 18 con then and dump the rest, with spare points into cha.

If you aren't taking the FB enhancements as a barbarian, you're missing the point of playing a barb.
