So no. They won't. After all, if you're that much of a stickler, you could just reroll. Free and it lets you take advantage of Intimidate.

In wow, your talents are force-reset every time they tinker with them significantly.

dark age of camelot and warhammer also usually auto reset your abilities if they mess with them.. at least if they made them worse.. haha if they made them better you were always screwed for a respec probably the same boat here too

Turbine gave rogues, in DDO, a dragonshard when they changed the rogue special feat system. (When DDO started back in 2006 the only special feat a rogue got was improved evasion and it was automatically granted.)

Times change. That was back when the game was P2P. The game is no longer P2P. It's now F2P. This has changed things, as many things that players were entitled to, they are no longer entitled to.

If you noticed, every game that's been mentioned so far (aside from DFO) has been P2P.

To the OP...

Let me put it this way. You were doing "fine" before, you'll do "fine" now. Otherwise, you can reroll. You have free options. You also have pay options that are more convenient. How important are those ranks in Intimidate to you? How important is keeping aggro to you? These are the issues you need to consider.

I can understand when people want rebuilds when their characters get nerfed to oblivion, but I really have a hard time to sympathize with people who want a respec just because something new was made available.

It's not like the new Intimidate option makes old characters entirely obsolete. Your old paladin is just build to work without it (or with a fighter splash in some cases.) If you want to benefit from something new, then make something new.

I remember back in the day when you had to walk up-hill to school both ways through 3 feet of snow that if you wanted to change your character you had to reroll from scratch. Just sayin'
