The wizard levels are just for pale master and buffs, although it does save a feat (mental toughness); rogue levels are for skills and early evasion, while the ranger levels speak for themselves. I wanted an arcane archer that could also melee and take advantage of the incorporeal/displacement stacking for defense, and the monk dragonmark builds were just impossible due to feat constraints; I would have had to give up too much.
