Notice the poison guard does 2d6 STR damage on failed save (average of 7 per proc)


Picture 1:

1) look at the pic, I SAVE on a 5(+18)= 23

2) I take 1 point of damage (how is this possible since the guard does 2d6 damage upon proc?)

Could you have any bonuses not included in the +18 recorded in the log?

(ie is that a paladin aura buff icon? what is your save 'normally'?)

Picture 2:

1) Look at the pic, I SAVE on a 3(+18) = 21

2) I take 2 points of damage. This is not impossible, BUT very rare seeing it's only one of two procs I got to actually go off. it's close to the average of a 1d6 (3.5), not 2d6 (7)

that is my normal save (i am the paladin lol)

18 was my save (i had a +2 cha shrine going, but that's already included) at lvl 7, i doubt i have a 28 fort save (hehe buffed it gets close :P)

I upgraded my cloak last night and went to test it in the Vale.

I noticed that the rats and spiders were taking only one point of str damage. I noticed ONCE that a mob took 6 points of damage.

Questions:

1. Did they take 1 point of damage because they 'could take no more' and were already at 1 or 0?
2. Do some mobs have resistance to str damage of some sort?

I would also like to know! I haven't bug reported anything yet because I am not sure if there is a bug or not!

Someone was too gimp to hit with my armor on, and when they did, Crushing Wave + Radiance was whine inducing. Shoulda robed up I suppose, gotta free the boys sometime though.

As to the cloak, the guard certainly isn't the reason I made it, although it is disappointing that it doesn't work. Am quite happy that the proc rate remained awesomely high, just need the actual effect boosted to the Greater now.

No i didn't bug report it. Do the DEV's get bug reports now? Before they weren't
