Pale Lavender Ioun Stone Auction

After the posts and PM's from a previous post I've decided to put the ioun stone up for auction.



I am interested in...

•Plat (of course)
•Larges (Stones are the highest priority, followed by Scales). The rest don't interest me.

A couple other things that would be nice but are not high priority
•Metalline Handwraps of PG.


This will be a silent auction (kind of). I never did this before so it might be kind of fun. Here are the rules.

•It will end Friday (6PM Server time)
•Every day I will PM the highest bidder and bump the thread (6PM Server time, give or take). That way you won't be bidding against yourself and you will know if you've been outbid.
•Seller reserves the right to end the auction early due to a "Bid that I couldn't refuse".

Post your bids in this thread or PM them. If you want to bid in-game, please send a mail to Bertos if I'm not logged in. Please don't send tells when I'm healing a raid.

FWIW - I'd suggest putting it to open auction, with bids posted here in your thread. That way folks know what the current bid is when they roll into the thread, and can bid accordingly. (Make one rule a minimum bid jump of 10k plat or something to avoid the 1-plat bidders. )

Hmmm seems to be a lot of mystery here. Does flack by any chance work for turbine's ingame acct management department

But that's the point. Since you don't know what the highest bid is (only that you are not it) you would more likely bid the highest amount possible

If you are willing to pay 500 plat and you know the highest bid is 1 plat, you will only bid 2, no reason to get near 500. that's not to the OP's advantage

Sure it sucks when we're biddig but I've always made my "auction" threads like this

Not true. If you look back through the truly valuable items on this server, they went for a lot. If its valuable enough the op can basically ask anything he wants.

If the bids are going up, they will keep going up until people dont want to pay any more. It really doesnt matter if its in small pieces or big chunks. By not stating what the bid is he is excluding more people from the auction that might bid. And likely getting messages for no reason at all from people that arent willing to pay up.
