I'm playing on Orien server. my standing hp is 365, have 1350 SP and was running with about 60+ AC. I have some melee skills, but not allot (see Valiance build for reference). at this particular run, I wasn't meleeing Harry. I ran into the middle, popped my aura, used bursts and spot heals as i thought needed. I'm new to raiding, so not allot of experience in knowing how good is the dps by the earlier parts of the raid.
Do you have all your healing enhancements and at least a sup potency item if not a ardor clicky? At 1350SP you wont be solo healing the average pug, put a solid FvS or 20cleric and have you do what you were doing.

I am trying to do what ever I can to conserve SP, so I am really stingy about it. In previous run, a FvS told me he did not think I could heal there cause of my low SP pool. he said that even he had sometimes issue there and he had 2500 SP. that's the reason I am trying to consume all other means before spending those SP.
At 2k SP I dont have mana problems, a FvS who does is doing something wrong or he was not healing specced and was using meta's to boost his heals.

After all your posts, I realized I haven't even thought about using mass protection. maybe it was given by others, not sure, but I did not gave it. I have read plenty of posts about not bothering with mass protection and just use resist energy, so I am not using it allot. and for poison, I didn't even knew there is a poison attack, maybe I saw one character with poison symbol (not sure thought), but nothing meaningful that caught my attention.
Buffs for Harry are FoM, resist fire, poison immunity (If requested) and mass prot.

I would also add, that no one asked from me anything or told me that I should do something specifically. that of course until we died. then few of them complained, and one of them was really cynical about the healing. but I guess those kind of people are found everywhere. even If I was the one responsible for the failure, there is a way to say it. being a cleric is stressful enough without that kind of remarks
ANYTIME you are not familiar with content make it known. At least on my server its assumed if you dont know what your doing you will say so. I still ask if people dont when I run raids but there seems to be a fear amongst people that you will get kicked out or treated badly for not knowing. On the contrary I have np instructing first timers, I HATE when people try to wing it and mess up because they hoped to ride it out rather then ask.

As for radiant servant, It could be that I thought it is better then it is, pretty sure I was seeing 200-400 heals from it while grouping here and there. could be people healing augmentation though. Edit : Checking it on myself, I'm getting heals of about 150 and crits of about 350 without any healing augmentation. It looks like a potent healing tool.
With healing amps burst is not bad, Harry damage can be really spikey though. If you are going to sit in melee you cannot burst and aura alone, you will need to use mass cures or heals as well. Mass heal is the most mana efficient but longer casting. With experience you will learn what works best for you.

As for the death part, and I am being careful here as the memories of the event might be a little off, I remember seeing sudden drop of people hp to about half (some more some less obviously), which would be expected, but next thing I knew the health dropped again by another chunk. not sure what happened there but several folks died right there. I was about the 8Th member that died.
Sounds like meteor swarms, possibly blades inside the group as the normal strat now is to fight through them. Its worth noting that when the blades are inside the group fighting Harry you should be preemptive healing rather then reactive.

One thing regarding criticals: when you measure the quality of your bursts for healing an entire group, you need to base it solely on the quality of your burst when it doesn't critical. Even if you have a high critical percentage (say, from Prayer of Life III and Major Healing Lore on an item) you don't get to choose who gets the critical burst--so if the three people who have taken almost no damage get critical bursts while the other three closest to death get the smallest increase, you'll need to heal again quicker than if the opposite happens. Since it's not reliable, you can't count on it.

Auras are a bit different, since they crit all-or-none. On my cleric, I do have both Prayer of Life III and Major Healing Lore, and with a bunch of buffs will get crit auras with some frequency that heal for 59 per tick (I think) without healing amp. Generally, when I do get these, I move pretty close to Harry so that the ticks hit the melees but try not to get so close that I get hit by every attack that hits the melees. I find that this goes a long way towards keeping the group healed and then I can Mass Heal around that to keep everyone alive.

That only works well with a high crit aura though. If I don't crit I'm healing for around 19-22 per tick, which isn't enough of a change to justify being close to the group. It also helps to be survivable--I would generally feel pretty bad if I died before most of the group on a wipe, as my primary goal is to keep myself alive. So HP helps too.

Since I am new to raiding, I suffer from performance anxiety. its really hard for me to pay attention about what other people are doing as I am religiously following their life bars, as so, I cant really tell you what the other did or did not do.

I am trying to do what ever I can to conserve SP, so I am really stingy about it. My lvl 20 Wf'ed Battlesoul is often primary or secondary healer in Shroud and I only stay in the center if I am assuming a pure DPS role (meaning that next to me there are 2 dedicated healers). Even then I will occasionally throw in a emp'ed/max'ed CSW (with gloves of eternity on). AC 60+ means close to nothing vs Harry, DR/ & (a lot of)hp's is what will keep you alive imho.

Healing in part IV is not too difficult is you stay outside, avoid the blades (and if not keep yourself healed as well too) and co-ordinate with the other healer who will heal when. I never use mass heals (quicken does not fit in my build), so I solely use my CSW's (crit for 400+ though). You do not have to watch everyone's red bar, only the one that drops the fastest vs Harry in the center. I will often declare on which char my healing is centered on, so everyone wandering off is doing that on his/her own risk. If I can spare the time to spotheal (meaning that 50% of the dps group in the center won't die), I will, otherwise, I won't (the secondary healer will have to jump in then).

True, compared to an FVS (even a battlesoul) your sp's are about half of what he has. In guild raids, Harry goes down in 1 round (sp conservation is not an issue), in some PuG's you might pull a 2 or even a 3 rounder. In 1 rounders you could do the spot heals (letting a full cleric or fvs do the primary healing), in 2 rounders you could heal the 2nd round (a quick look at Harry's health when he pops up for the 2nd will show you if it will probably be a 3 rounder or not). For 2nd round healing you should not worry about your sp's too much, it should be sufficient. It's a tactic I usually do with my low sp's battlecleric as well ... . Carry'ing an awful amount of scrolls helps too though.

Looks like your trying your best, and props to you on that, but
1350 sp and 365 hp may make it real tough on you to heal in
    the shroud man.

First off, as another poster mentioned, 60+ ac is not good enough
to give yourself any illusion that you can avoid damage vs. Harry
while in melee range of him. Also, reflex saves are not an excuse
either as both meteor swarm and blades hit no matter how high it
    is.

I would work on getting those cleric amrath clickie belts asap and
try to gain a few more sp & hp. That being said, as you gain
experience in the shroud, you will also be gaining ingredients. Use
them to craft a SP item and then a HP item as quickly as you can.

Would also advise that you make ABSOLUTELY sure that you
coordinate with the other healer in there with you as to who is
going to go first and would recommend that you take the back-up
role until you are completely comfortable.

Use quickened Mass Heal from outside the blades on your turn,
alternating with mass cure light or moderate (fully boosted).

Throw your aura on to heal yourself and use your bursts in between
    rounds to heal the group.

If you are going past 2 rounds then you are in a very very poor group
for the level of gear and pre's that peeps can have nowadays and
you'll probly have to consume resources to get the job done.

Have a good one and good luck with your healer.
