Raid loot change

The only thing that is necessary is to accept you can do what you want with your loot but if you do things that make people mad that you also must deal with the result that they are mad.

..which has gotten to the point of ignorant and selfish players getting upset that you pulled the raid item they wanted, and took it for yourself. or handed it to your friend. or you didnt tell them upfront that you were going to do that.

Whenever you run accross people that make your game time not fun you should do both them and yourself a favor and squelch them so you all don't ruin each other fun again. After a few weeks of this you will find people who agree with your play style and be much happier and so will the ones that don't like it as they will be with people they agree with. The secret is play with people that you like playing with and don't play with ones you don't like playing with.

After a few weeks of this you will find people who agree with your play style and be much happier and so will the ones that don't like it as they will be with people they agree with. The secret is play with people that you like playing with and don't play with ones you don't like playing with.

While I agree with your post 110%, I don't believe it is relevant to my thread. if you disagree with my idea that's fine, but this thread is a suggestion to *hopefully* improve the game for myself and many others.

maybe your still trolling? i still dont see where I said i sell my loot if someone offers me money for it, just because i used that as an example.

nice to see that you have a join date of 09'. I guess you weren't around when we had warded chests and *only* 2 people were given the shot at raid loot, instead of everyone.

Simple fix would be make it so items are no longer passable. If it is a bound item, tough luck, wait for your 20th instead of begging your party members to carry your weight.

Maybe we will see less weekend loot drama threads too.

maybe give me the option on the user interface, such as the determine loot by class option:

-make bound items visible only to guild members
-make bound items visible only to me

after all this weekend mess on my home server, just a thought.

While I see the point you are trying to make, and applaud your attempt to alleviate the situation. It won't work. Raid loot will find a way to be a pain in the ass. Raid loot has torn apart parties, guilds, friendships, probably even a marriage or two.

Besides, the posts are soooooo much fun.

Instead, to relieve suffering of raid loot ass chaffing, may I suggest that everyone receive an additional piece of loot in each raid chest:

An alternative suggestion might be to accept that when you have a problem with a majority of the server, maybe it's you that has the problem and not the server.

I personally don't have a problem with people passing loot to their friends.

I *DO* have a problem with people rolling on other folks' unwanted loot and then not putting up their own loot for a roll.



If you want to roll on someone else's loot, then you have to put your own loot up for a roll when you don't want it or the system doesn't work. Are you really saying that you don't roll on other people's loot when they don't want it? If you do say that, do you actually think that anyone will believe you?


If people are whining because you took a piece of gear for yourself, then they're an ignorant minority. If people complain because you pass loot to your buddies without putting it up for a roll while rolling on their loot, then the ignorant and selfish player ain't them...

I don't see an issue with rolling on something to benefit others. For example, if my fiance wanted... oh I don't know, Tharnes Bracers from VoD, and they were put up for roll, wouldn't it make more sense to play the odds and have more than one person rolling for them? I don't understand how that's a dirty trick, when the person I am rolling for would benefit from having them. It's not like I'm taking them for myself, it's to help another person.

I don't auto assume the loot is up for roll, I wait and see if someone says something first. And as always "Your loot is your loot", so it's not a big deal if they pass it off becuase their friend needs the item or they only let it roll in the guild they are in.

Really bad idea.

Nothing is worse when running a raid than the "skunked" zero loot pull runs.

Even if you get nothing, seeing that XXXX pulled a nice item makes the raid worth the effort.

Also if you do put it up for a roll its harder if it isn't displayed because they can't look at it to see if they should roll for it or not.
