    Default Drow Evoker FvS

A variation off Impaqt's built for the FvS. Been debating whether or not Drow are better as Melee FvS or as Caster FvS. Was considering Silver Flame FvS, but I haven't seen any build out there for pure SF FvS.

    Thoughts, comments, possible improvements?

    Where's your level 3 feat? I'm guessing it's extend?

I'd prefer spell penetration feats over focus as spell resistance seems to be more of an impediment in higher levels. Also heighten could be a better choice, its not like you will be short of SP. For example heighten would give you +2 on the DC of Destruction, +3 on BB (from level 18 where you get L9 spells) for the price of one feat.

    Why are you choosing Drow?

I don't have 32 pt characters, and Invisibility looked like an easy way to keep kiting mobs through BB. Kite, Invis, walk back through, deinvis, aggro, repeat.

the +CHA, +DEX, and +INT don't really help an Evoker much at all, and of course, the -2 CON always hurts.

Even with 28-point builds, I would still suggest Human. This would get you +1 WIS over any other race (which you need), as well as an extra feat you can use to up your BB DCs or add to your spell pen.

You don't need to be invisible to kite through a BB either. If you do need to use invisibility though, you can use Invisibility scrolls (sold in the Portable Hole and at the House K Guild vendor) for 3 minute invis with UMD.

Drow just doesn't synergize well with an Evoker build.

Invis does not synergize well with blade barriers, if the monsters lose track of you, they stare around trying to find you instead of chasing you through whirling slashy deathy kill kill.

The Vulkoor capstone is immensely powerful, however. Don't kid yourself otherwise (and don't listen to people who claim that potions and scrolls are just as good...they aren't. Not even close). On my new Sovereign Host FvS, I'm finding that I want to be casting invis all the time (my Drow FvS is TR'd at the moment), and I'm barely ever needing the cure light capstone. If only there was a way to get Vulkoor worship on a human for the feat and skillpoints.
Kobold sentient jewel still hate you.

As I've learned while wearing the Mabar cloak, invisibility (or generally any aggro losing mechanism) works horribly with BBs. Trust me, you *want* the aggro. It's not like you'll be squishy as a FvS anyway (and you should have a high enough UMD to scroll Invis, plus there's the three 15-minute clicky necklace).

I think I would take Greater Spell Penn out and replace with Heighten.

    Extend at Level 3.

I might even go for a 14 CHR and drop STR to 10. Racial Weapon Proficency and Extra To hit can be taken via ENhancments to boost up backup melee until you get blade barrier.
