Improve Shard of Supreme Power Drop Rate?

54% of the time when N<sqrt(99) the results are made by the person that spoke them.

Reguardless, I have no problem getting them. Typically every few shroud runs at least one is put up for a roll, and only 2-3 people roll on it.

Plan ahead, it takes at least 10+ runs to get enough larges to craft something.

I went into the kitchen today. The 2 times before that I got no tunafish. This time I also got no tunafish.

I told everyone in the house if I did not get some tunafish I'd pay 5 bucks for theirs'. 2 lunch orders and nobody got tunafish.

11 out of 12 people stayed for the 2 afternoon breaks. None of them got tunafish either! I wanted to eat my tunafish today so bad.

I was so ready to finish my dagwood sandwich and I couldn't get some stupid comes-in-a-can tunafish! I'm so sad now.

Please improve the availability of tunafish because this shouldn't happen to anyone.

I pulled a tuna on my very first shroud run. Now all I need is to pull some bread, relish and mayo then I'll be all set to craft my sammich. A pepper drop would be nice too.

If you spent half as much time questing as you do in pvp you would have GS for every slot and then some, I have 124 completions on just my ranger,1 of 4 of my toons, and only maybe 5 of those in the last 6 months.

my worst streak has been 9 competions without getting any large, thats 18 chests which can drop large, when the drop rate is around 50%

supreme shard are extremly common, you need like 10+ large ingredient for 1 supreme shard, so before you get full on large and ready to craft you will get your shard... and 90% of the time (because of what i just said) people put their shard to roll

not getting a supreme shard on 3 run is unlucky, because they are terribly easy to get, but asking to change their drop rate is ridiculous

And that's what I would call poor reading comprehension; I never said they were. The relative drop rates (between ingredients and shards), as far as I can tell, are. Because we're discussing getting all the large mats before getting the shard, the relative rates are all that matter.

No we were discussing getting more smalls and mediums than one knows what to do with before getting enough larges or shards to make one item a T3, due to what used to be considered a good farming practice. Nowdays I dont know why people still farm through part 4 but not loot the chests in 5.

Are +5 holy T1 GS items the new in thing or something?

I get donations all the time and I used to PvE so I can just sell stuff I get from that.

I do PvE sometimes but only when grinding something to improve my PvP experience.

Well is like this ... I had 180 shrouds on the toon in my sig before I TR'd her - she still has well over a half of page of supreme shards (do not know why I do not sell 'em) besides that she's 12 GS weapons/items, If I count all 13 characters am sure I'd well over 1500 shrouds?

Now, I play the game for PvE not PvP (although I PvP from times to time). This game is designed with the PvE envronment in mind ... the content (the quests), the items, even the character build choices are designed entirely around PvE in mind...

So let us summarize this. Most all the work which has gone into this game - loot drop rates included - are designed to keep the PvE environment both balanced and running continuously. Raising the drop rates means content (quests) becomes exhausted quicker, it means the quest designers need turn around more quests more frequently and that the loot ages more frequently... defeating both your purpose and the idea behind reusable content (life expectancy of a quest). Thus if the rest of the populace is chasing the newer, better loot in the next dungeon ... odds are so will you as that GS item you farmed for a dozen times is passe because the rest of us are running 20ths 40ths etc... and dripping in it.

say what you will, but you need to think before you post. that long red twizzler should be an indication. thats a lot more opinions than just mine. you ask for nerfs when someone beats you in pvp using a method you dont like, because it works, and you die. several of my guildies and ex guildies clown you all the time. its why you post all those nerf threads. now, having only 3 runs in shroud, you are asking for a change, for one, that makes no sense to anyone playing outside the pvp pits. staying in pvp most of your gaming hours seriously has gimped your lack of knowledge and understanding of the mechanics of this game that make it great, not to mention lack of gear. get out, enjoy the nice scenery, and dank dungeons for a bit. get a feel, ask some questions, grind some gear. better your toon in the process of learning. dont ask for things to be changed that you havent ventured outside the lobster long enough to understand. im sure if people are that "generous" to you to fund your first greensteel ingredients (i guess thats the story), then im sure they will be generous enough to offer advice and answer some questions to help you understand the things that make this game work, wouldnt you think?? thats as civil as i can be. take it or leave it. capisce?

as for not responding to your pvp requests, they are as silly as your posts. no need to waste my time, and ive wasted far too much here trying to get you to understand where you are going wrong here already. a duel? and you wont fight back? how silly is that? my top end geared, greensteel wearing cleric would hit you with a bag of $hit before you knew what happened. then another thread to nerf the healers from you. nah, dueling is not my cup of tea, and proves nothing. and i have no desire to read another eyesore post from you. no thanks. ill keep healing pugs and guildies through hound, vod, tod, shroud, reaver, whatever, and get my gear, increase my knowledge. people set out to kill you in pvp now, just for fun, because you cant handle it. you made yourself the joke, not me. i just call it like i see it
